POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Death of a Solicitor (Ketamine)
Isolation,
of that I am well accustomed.
The words the spew off my tongue fall onto empty spaces,
lining pages with queries and endless quests
to defy this single supposition,
"Every creature on earth dies alone.
Needle beckons the inquisitive,
in hopes to reel fate forth,
to the coldest core of the earth.
Darling, I've slept so long and this is where I've made my home,
fuck this recreant part of the world...
Sculptures,
Scriptures,
and Scales,
all miscreants attempting to measure what cannot be defined,
a subservient...

Repentance
Perhaps I was pretentious,
tried to be expressive,
yes, I am a fool somehow,
I think I linger,
lingering quietly,
precious like November rain,
inside your mind dear,
a scapegoat to implore and render all your fears…

I’m not so sure why,
what I’ve been waiting for,
has left me high-
high and dry,
but my ears caught a ride with,
existential bliss,
adrift like cursed, sinking ships.
Murmured notes, numbing octaves making me reminisce,
you don’t know but you will be missed,
darling.
You may not know but you’ll be missed.
And you’re weaving your hands through,
through like tiny thread to mend my broke and barren heart,
yet I thank you solemnly,
just for staying true to the illusions that I...

I've got a Ghost
I’ve got a ghost,
back has broken exposing bone,
I push it down but it’s bound too low,
his midnight howl woke these maddening souls.
I’ve got a ghost,
he loves the rain to wash his red right hand,
gutless and stoned, buried in sand
he walks the reef,
he sheds his greif by haunting those who sleep.
I’ve got a ghost,
his shadow on the wall,
broken and low, I tempt him,
possess my body, fill my hollow bones,
I see him grimly grin, he shouts and screams...

Burial
my wide eyed perception of this burial,
makes me think of real life,
what we throw into amiss,
what we solemnly dismiss,
the blade's promising, soft kiss.
makes me think of real life,
what we throw into amiss,
what we solemnly dismiss,
the blade's promising, soft kiss.

Unruly curls
When I look in the mirror,
I don't see much.
Just a broken, fractured girl
with unruly curls and hatred for the world.
She falls for every sad boy she sees,
but all she can do is dream,
for she is unwanted,
as unwanted as me.
I don't see much.
Just a broken, fractured girl
with unruly curls and hatred for the world.
She falls for every sad boy she sees,
but all she can do is dream,
for she is unwanted,
as unwanted as me.

Inconsolable
In my stomach,
there is a pit as dark as a day,
in which I do not recognize the sun,
for she is foreign to me,
as foreign to me as my own reflection.
A single, sullen orb she is,
who whispers sweet, sweet maledictions into my ears,
with her raspy, monotonous voice,
in truth she whispers,
"You are worthless,
You are queer,
of all the realms you could've been concieved,
why here?
Your presence heavies no weight,
in fact your absence brings joy and relief among so many.
So do it dear,
I dare you,
in a river of broken teeth,...

Carrion
I want to lie and dampen in the death of you,
festering beneath the rain...
In your moss speckled arms,
I'd expell, I'd try
to be more than I've thought
I could do.
I'd decay, decay,
lying inside chambers of passion and disarray.
I want to spry and frolick in the thought of you,
suspiring from your stains...
From the bowels to the love-stricken,
I'd waste and crave,
your mouth to my ears,
your heart to make clear.
I'd decay, decay,
sprouting from the carcass of your prey.
I will stain,
I will stain,...
festering beneath the rain...

Misconstrued Inception
Within in the shadow of a seed in heat,
she swells underneath my aching body,
she sings and swoons,
in pursuit to disembody,
what's true,
the company she'd liked to keep.
But he came and drowned her fantasies,
"doth murder sleep,"
she swells and bellows under a bloody moon,
once proven a fool,
she wails, "I'm immune, I'm immune."
conception is cruel,
ever-longingly cruel,
she weeps even in the company she keep.
If she were brave enough,
she'd take it upon her lips and blossom,
she'd widen under your...

Snakes & Scales
Slithering toward forever,
with your shimmery scales,
I'd watch you fall apart.
stand by me and break my heart,
watch me fall apart.
Deceiving my better judgment,
sink it in, your teeth,
poisoning me,
watch me revel in your darkness,
break my heart.
Assumptions and conclusions apart,
frugal and charming,
break, break, break my heart.
Watch me, watch me,
fall apart.
Oh snakes and scales,
deceitful, craving heart,
I loved you,
watched you fall apart,
and now I feel you all around me,
your blade was...

The Hanged Man & The Fool
Some words will not do,
when you are a Fool,
some sights cannot compare,
when all you see is a world, unfair,
a symphony of losses,
a malediction of wealth,
a temple of contradicting crosses,
and death.
Find comfort in the shade,
ignorance, ignorance,
sharpening it's blade,
comfort of the shade,
this tendering phase.
I've lost a lot of sleep,
thinking of the speed of things,
the ice is getting thin,
and if I may be shrewd,
people are not true,
no one can hide,
from the shade,
...

Full & Feeble Longing
Why must I like you?
I fall to a fusing of commonality and a knowing of you,
your yearning glance,
a flicker of burning flames never yet
relinquished, cherished, loved.
I bare an open heart,
yet no one heed my calling swiftly,
but violently,
as they ignore me,
ignore my need to know them and thus I shed my longing,
to ground myself again,
remembering that I mustn't possess a love,
but merely yearn one,
feel the burn,
brush my fingers upon the scar
