Dices Que Soy Imperfecta
Listen to the shrieks
The bellows and the cries
The people who are searching
Or the sounds of souls who’ve died
Can you taste the metal?
The cold, red-stained metal
Could you suffer through the name-calling?
“Disgusting, sick, fag, mental”
Have you felt the searing pain?
The fire erupting from within
As the razor becomes a paintbrush,
And for a canvas, they use skin
Words like “Retard, dyke, muff-munching fairy”
Left you with no sense of self worth?
You been kicked, spit, pissed on?
Pushed down in the cold dirt?
Yet through the...

Places Unknown
Its days like this I’d like to miss
Trying my hardest not to reminisce
But memories appear, and hair is pulled out by the fist
I’m trapped in my own personal hell
I hate reliving the life I have had
The cold, isolated days, my sick twisted past
Yes, I’m numb to the feeling; even I know that’s sad
I wish this wasn't my story to tell
The home I was born in never felt like a home
I was surrounded by love, but I was alone
Ever so slowly, sanity slipped from my dome
Things abruptly began to fail
My surroundings consisted of bright colored...

Look in the mirror
And tell me what you see
Cuz I see all the special things
That I will never be
Even to drop the weight
And reach a size 3
Still wouldn't even make me
The girl of your dreams
Dear lord, what was I thinking
This is so out of place
I must have my head stuck so far up in space

Smile
Three months ago, when it first hit
You were all alone, ready to quit
He broke your heart, left you with it
His reason wasn't even legitimate
But you were strong, you stood your ground
Looked within yourself, and there you found
A person you knew you couldn't let down
You rebuilt your life, back together you bound
And now you smile, you are okay
You accept that you have dreary days
But you smile and wipe those tears away
Open up wide, and these words you say
"I am beautiful because I am me"
There's nobody else you need to be...

Short and Sweet
Though the sun sometimes has the darkest of days
Does that ever stop it from once again shining?
Though the sky must suffer through the feat of the rains
Does that mean you'll never step outside again?
Though the stars aren't always as blissfully bright

She is my soul
For without her I can not take a breath to sustain the air which fills my lungs
She is the blood that flows through the depths of my heart
She has made me the woman you see today
She is half the woman that I have become
It is unwise to pour all your love unto one

Ignorance is not Bliss
There's a sick old saying
Ignorance is bliss
But if you ask me
That's such bullshit
You're just being stupid
You run the risk of being hurt
All because you're in love with her
Was it love that used you
Was it love that cheated on you
Is it love that plays you like a drum
While I sit on the side, watching you play dumb
This time around, I fucking refuse
To sit around and coddle you

You made me believe that I was beautiful
I never thought rejection could be so cruel
The worst part of it all? You inspired me
But you're just like every other close-minded fool
I assume by now you know who you are
And I want you to stay out of my life
I was fucking fine before I ever shared my desires with you
And I'll be ok after our last goodbye

Is it so wrong to be different
To stand out from the crowd
To be sick, twisted, obsessed
Or maybe just too loud
Is it okay to judge one
On something you never feel
You know that your words hurt
But you act as if their pain isnt real
Necrophilia, incest
Beastiality, and more
Not everyone enjoys them
But for some people, it's their "norm"
Society is so cruel
Unaccepting, tormentful
