Within a silence rhetoric falling rains
like shadows formed a glassy transparency
acoustic ghosts of apples freezing
hanging from the trees in an orchard
for the dead dripping its ciders
of sin that never ripen or ferments
acoustic ghosts of apples freezing
reaping red placid peeling claustrophobia
brooding chorus betwixt invoking insects
long descent levitating locust swarming
decipherment lament necrotic exodus
ends extends begins again
