Did you ever think
I will ever come back
Did you once contemplate
Our lives will ever be back on track
We have moved on my dear
Not from love we have had or the lack
Of trying, but from the time
Time we drifted apart or didn’t comeback
Did you ever think
I will ever beg again
Did you once remind yourself
Of the sorrow caused and the pain
I will never go back to that life
Now that I recall the misery and the chain
I locked myself inside a cell
I have been trying...

Dear everyone
Before I start I would first like to express my great heartfelt sorrow at knowing that Deepundergroundpoetry is closing down. DUP had been a second home to me and to many poets like myself. I have met many friends, read some amazing words, poems and stories that touched my heart and made me the person who I am right now. It's Valentine's Day, I know, my love.
Birds singing, deers dancing, a dove
flying, flowers blooming, a day to feel.
I swear I didn't forget all that stuff
I'm late, please forgive, my non-haste.
Don't throw our love to waste
until I get a chance to say what I feel.
A glance to steal, a kiss, maybe a date.
Can't you feel my heart, my Fair?
Lightning, dancing, flashing in the air.

Will You Be My Valentine?
Will you be my valentine?
Must have said that a thousand times
I sent several invites to dine
Hundreds of roses fair and fine
Chocolate boxes more than nine
with all kinds of bottles of wine
Waiting for a wink or just a sign
to say that you agree to be mine
No reply nothing just a message online

“You’re a fool for thinking I’m thine
I need someone who makes me shine

Mouse in my attic
I have a mouse living in my attic
She crawled all night making static
Got someone who is a mice terminatic
He said “you have two lovers living in your attic”
Now that is definitely very problematic
Although he didn’t sound very dramatic
I also don’t want to be melodramatic
But they shouldn’t be living in my attic
“They should die” and I wasn’t very diplomatic
I’m also a guy who is not very romantic
No one should be living in my attic
Not love, nor anyone who is the least sympathetic

The castle bells finally rang
My heart surprisingly sang
He did not lie. He said he will
Come. I knew he would, yet I still
Did not want to really believe

I read the word chiseled on that headstone. I have always wondered if that was meant to be the noun “Beloved” or the adjective. Or maybe it was intended to be “Be-Loved.” One or two words, different meanings, different pronunciations, I can never tell.
I kneel on the damp ground on that cold December day, the same day of every year for the past eleven years. The day I lay my wreath and wait.
After sunset she comes on exactly that single day of the year. She kneels next to me holding one single rose in her hand and lays it next...
