The Good Nothing
I fill my body full of shit,
But I make my bed and sleep in it.
I get headaches that tell my brain what to think.
I'll sit and waste the sunny days.
Oh I'll waste my life if my mind don't change,
But I enjoy the shameless watching as time flies by.
I've forgotten to ring back all my friends,
Not because of something I ever intend,
I'd just like some space for a day, a week or two.
Where I sit is worn and ripped by the seams.
I guess this chair and I we share a theme.
I wonder what time will do to each of us. ...
But I make my bed and sleep in it.

People
People are a delicate affair,
Whether you're a millionaire,
Or a poor average bloke
They push and pull,
'Til their cup's half full,
And drink it down til they choke.
Now I'm all for love,
And its beauty thereof,
But there's these prominent thoughts that poke and provoke,
'Cos people are a delicate affair,
Whether you're a joker,
Or a joke.
Whether you're a millionaire,
Or a poor average bloke
They push and pull,
'Til their cup's half full,
And drink it down til they choke.
Now I'm all for love,
And its beauty thereof,
But there's these prominent thoughts that poke and provoke,
'Cos people are a delicate affair,
Whether you're a joker,
Or a joke.

Stop
The world is crazy,
I wish we'd stop for a while.
We make these lives,
Of nervous smiles,
As we spin atop this manic rock
That blurs the hands upon the clock
I wish we'd stop...
And look around,
To see the sights,
And hear the sounds
And know for now the steady ground,
Until we feel the spinning round
Of this monumental merry-go-round
That makes me think I wish we'd stop...
For an hour,
Or a minute,
Just to bask among it.
Just to slow our hearts,
And feel infinite.
To stop the...

A Moment To Hide
I'm thinking of drinking and drowning my sorrows,
To borrow tomorrow for all that it's got.
To sieve and get rid of what lives in my head,
And instead put to bed all the dread of bad thought.
I'll tackle my battles with the strength that I'll find,
When my mind soon unwinds from the knots that I've tied.
Soon I'll tune to the sound of what loudly surrounds,
But for now I'll allow for a moment to hide.

Leanna
She can stop time with a look.
She can freeze you with her smile.
She can lay with you in silence,
And make it worth your while.
She can heal you with her hands,
And change you with her touch.
She can give you all she has to give,
And never seem too much.
She can smile away your frown.
She can right your every wrong.
She can make your knees feel weak,
Whilst she makes your heart beat strong.
She can suture up your wounds,
With her warm and loving manner.
She's...
She can freeze you with her smile.
She can lay with you in silence,
And make it worth your while.

The Way You Are
The way you are,
Makes my heart beat fast,
Makes the world turn slow.
The way you are,
Makes me want to stay.
Makes my worries go.
The way you are,
Stops me in my tracks,
Keeps me coming back,
And makes me want to know,
The way you are.
Makes my heart beat fast,
Makes the world turn slow.
The way you are,
Makes me want to stay.
Makes my worries go.
The way you are,
Stops me in my tracks,
Keeps me coming back,
And makes me want to know,
The way you are.

As Momentum Starts To Push
As a spark becomes a flame,
So does a droplet start the rain,
And as momentum starts to push,
What started first cannot remain.
As a cliff's reduced to sand,
So does a wave relent to land,
And as momentum starts to push,
What was before no longer stands.
So does a droplet start the rain,
And as momentum starts to push,
What started first cannot remain.
As a cliff's reduced to sand,
So does a wave relent to land,
And as momentum starts to push,
What was before no longer stands.

Pity The People With Pride For Their Sins
Pity the people with pride for their sins,
For people who sin have paper-thin skin,
And the skin of the sinned shows outside what is in,
So we pity the people with pride for their sins.
For people who sin have paper-thin skin,
And the skin of the sinned shows outside what is in,
So we pity the people with pride for their sins.

Fairweather Friends
I'm at the end of my tether,
For I'm forever endeavoured,
To never fail fareweather friends.
For I'm forever endeavoured,
To never fail fareweather friends.

Until Something Says I'm Freed
I don't know what I need.
I feel there are things to feed.
My soul forever bleeds,
Until something says I'm freed.
I've lost my will to heed,
The way my path might lead.
Time's pace distorts my creed,
Until something says I'm freed.
My mind might soon concede.
Words make my demons bleed,
But to a higher strength I plead,
Until something says I'm freed.
Nothing good seems guaranteed.
Time scares me with its speed.
My fate and destiny accede,
Until...

Angers' Aid's Betrayal
I feel quick ferocious anger,
And I'm wary of its aid.
How it reminds me of release,
Of a beast inside a cage.
How a beast without control,
May seem to some as free,
But a beast that has been tamed,
Needs no cage or lock and key.
And I'm wary of its aid.
How it reminds me of release,
Of a beast inside a cage.
How a beast without control,
May seem to some as free,
But a beast that has been tamed,
Needs no cage or lock and key.

On The Hill
Up here,
On the hill,
I can see the world go by.
Little flickers of the stardust headlights merge with the streetlights of the city.
The world is moving but I feel timeless,
Up here,
On the hill.
I can see the landscape,
How it merges with the crashing of the waves,
That tides' motion makes until waves break upon the ever-surrendered shoreline,
That soon proceeds to meet the streets.
The wavey roads.
The golden pearls of streetlamps.
This hustled blur of city life.
As I look up, I see the stars move with time
But down here ...

The golden pearls of streetlamps.
This hustled blur of city life.
