Been writing for years on and off. Its great to look back on my old work. Good poetry captures emotion and the moment. Looking back i can read a life story. I am new to reading other poetry, and i am enjoying it thoroughly.

WHEN
When smile replace frowns
when wide bright eyes take the place of drooping dark bags
when skin tightens instead of sags
when teeth stay white unfazed by years of chewing
when hair stays long and never gets tired of growing
when bones stay strong and joints never break down
when youth stays ahead of time

irritable Bitches
From time to time
there is no reason
just an irritable bitch
not just me, you too
we ask each other why
demand to know whats wrong
but we are reasonless!
We are just irritable bitches
try and reason, find an excuse
we are forced to ride each others roller coasters
ups and downs we hold each other tight
for we are happy people who only become bitches from time to time

Not afraid of My own Death
I’m not afraid of my own death
In fact, I welcome it
I taunt it and test the limits of life
Subconsciously I must have a death wish
Consciously I want to stay healthy and live forever
But why than do I do the things i do
I have done a lot of things that physically I should have died from
And since I’m still not home
I continue to confront and to some degree aim toward the timeless eternity where I sooner or later will rest forever
In fact, I welcome it

Over fed
Swollen, beaten, battered, and bruised
Provocative, seductive, slutty, and used
Dripping, puking filled to the top
Twisted, curdled, coagulated, faded
Over worked
Under paid
A fucked up joke they have played

The world is mine for the taking
Eyes closed
Silent
Cold and still

The sound of silence
There something about the silence
It really gets to you
It frightens the mind and comforts the body
The hollowness in the air
Leaves room to think about things you never think about
They say too much silence will make a man go made
They also say too much noise will drive a man insane

Truth be told
Our love has grown old
Yours has aged and died
Mine continues to decay
There still a whole lot to say
If I could find the words and the time
