Reverse Psychology
Maimed and lifeless.
Hands overlapping either edge.
Leg crossed atop leg. Stretched.
Passive. Comforted by the fortress of my bed.
Mind buried deep within itself.
No reason in particular.
Just dwelling, existing.
Somewhere...Deep...between,
Heaven and hell,
The beginning and end,
Immortality and death,
The scepter of the lord,
And
the devils pitch fork,
Looking into the ceiling. Deep.
Deep thinker,
A Mind which perceives deeper.
Thinking into mysteries like the teeth of Eve
Sinking deep in the...

Uprising of the musical revolution
For The Love of Music
Sonic sex. each note of its own beauty
Lyrics sculpted with soul and tongue. listen- The sound of nudity
flowing through, Stroking inner chords that feel a little too deep.
Oohs and aahs sync the beat symese- Smooth, harmonized, Rhythmatic fluidity
When you can feel it but can't say it
For the days you don't wanna say it but just wanna feel it anyway
Like the words just won't mesh together to make sense for others to relate
Music is like a medium- able to translate the mind state.
Music is a mother

Look!!! a tree grows...In the Ghetto
Once upon another time, was a place
Its face, ruined, and nameless
Here, Naive strands of Stray grass attempt to sprout life, in vain
Desolate day and night skies forge as united associates
Melled into singular page
Characterized by sheer Nothingness, in its full monotony, day after, day
Swiveling smokes of mist emancipated
From parched and groaning rocks of ancient
Cold black humidity
Licks a Taste of sweaty pickled skin
Sorrow filled trees reach
Unto eternity peak
Barren and shivering
From cold murmurs and groans riding the...

Post Apartheid- Where are we now...
Where are we now?
What have we accomplished and how?
Is the outcome of our genesis, really something to be proud about?
Its about time we look back and take full account of our freedom, coz its been about 20 years now.
20 years since the Referendum.
20 years since 40 million people came together
20 years since our first black President
The Man, The Legend who embodied The african dream- King Nelson Mandela
Power and freedom to the people
he split the keys to one country 40 million ways, equal.
Our Leader, materialized the dream,

In First, second and third person.
Heart pumping frantically,
Body knee-jerk reacting
Mind dwelling upon thoughts and options
Sink or swim rang immediately obvious
Mind and body bickering in doubt,
Of each others ability to see and sort of plan out
Calm steps in to negotiate common ground
Easing fears and over confidence to speak with one mouth
Because neither will make it out without the other
Inner Demons Gnash their teeth and Jaws.
Sharpening arms.
An Army Colliding head on with common sense in an all out war.
Sides chosen. Battle lines drawn.
An...

The Psalm of a Lover, Before God...
Whom is man that you were mindful of him Father.
These are the words that's oft vexed both Psalmist and Lover
That one God could be so great as to create all this for us
Or that one God could be so mindful as to give every Adam, the Eve he wanted.
That we could be worthy
Enough to plant our Fetus
Within the wombs which were worthy
Of Gods very own Seed
Hail Mary!
Although Ive never been a Psalmist
I've been Blessed to have Loved as a Lover,
A Love that made me want to write Psalms,
While sitting in wonder under...

Blasphemous
Each day a new struggle.
Every utter another dying ember.
The souls windows opaque tainted.
Tear painted.
Questions vulturing and starving for answers.
Yet I have none except more questions.
The line between prayers why's and crys.
I can no longer find or define.
No more!!!
I beg you.
Please?
No more!
Have mercy...
Shrieks my vocal chords.
The words,
Falling off my lips.
Standing on bended knees.
Head hung.
Hands flung up!
To the heavens.
Fuck!
Where's my gun!
With this shit I am done!!...

Ponderous
Parched eyes
Devoid of life
Enslaved by pride
Refusing the yearning urge to cry
Behind these eyes
Lurks a dark, deep and twisted mind
Where Suicidal ambitions reverberate
Against the seams of my psychological limitations
Stretching length and breadth beyond the ability of containment
Emotional motions rips my soul apart whole
While I Search for fertile ground in which to forest the seeds of sanity
Desperate attempts to balance out the anarchy
Hoping to grow measured and level headed
thought patterns
I keep clutching at...

Seductive Dialog
Sharp and lethal.
your words pierce like a needle.
Each sentence suspends my senses.
you speak a poetry flowing soul deep.
a lyrical seduce that strokes the darker reaches within me...
Verbal intercourse forced upon my thoughts.
Your lips weaving fantasy in images...
As I follow every sentence that proceedeth from your mouth, and,
how your tongue sinfully sculpts them.
Even before this dialog i was all yours,
But you seem to get a kick from keeping me on all fours.
My heart flooded, gushing with barbaric blood currents,
Barging through a...

That's that ish
You know that time in ones life.
Then you really busy living and trying to survive.
And its like this sudden ping ripples through your being.
Right through your entire life and everything you ever thought was real.
Its a second when time parts.
Where your realization is bigger than life itself and even the stars.
All the great men in history,
Have experienced this feeling.
From Nostradamus to Einstein when they fathomed the stature of there creations
Columbus probably saw the US and thought "I could be sitting on a gold mine, an...

Drunken Adventures
Wiping the corners of my mouth clean
Smudging a swiped stain on my sleeve
Assorted colours it seems
Baffling indeed, since a sandwich was my last meal
Frowning brows ripple new wrinkles
Upon a previously unflappable forehead
Mind Determined to unravel this deep mystery at hand
Or at sleeve I should have said
Chuckling to myself
I begin my "war" against gravity
1...2...Shit I can't do it
After a grand 5 minutes
Eventually managing to pull my body back into a good standing
the ground keeps pulling me back
First on the right...
