I walk across the desert,
As the cold night descends,
The scarred bodies of my fellows,
Scattered and lifeless,

Many a person has fallen,
Slain at the hands of the each other,
Fighting for a cause we have all but forgotten,
Lost in the midst of battle,

Footsteps are heavy,
Fists are clenched,
A fierce expression growls at a physical level,
Yet I feel nothing inside,

For nothing has meaning,
And has no reason to be,
For what purpose could anything have,
When all that ever happens is a designed chaos?

Grovel.

Drag me away,
Into the hole you have dug,
The hole I helped dig,
Drag me into your grave for all eternity...

Crawl into the cold room and curl up like the pathetic creature you are,
Crawl away from all your fears and lock yourself in,
Lock yourself into the scene that I set,
Only to be hunted by your nightmares once again...

Grovel below me, worthless mortal,
Grovel and cry and beg like you were always meant to,
Pleading for my mercy,
The mercy and forgiveness you do not deserve,
