Beauty
I was never one to bask in my own beauty or believe it to be true I had any to bask in. But today I steep in my beaut like a tea bag, let it soak into my lungs and drown out my hatred. Today I am graceful my beauty dancing along my tongue as words flood the room, each one full of meaning. Today I forget my insecurities and sing life into my lungs again. Today I am imperfect, and everyday that is beauty.

Feelings Of You
Your stomach aches
the butterflies race up to your throat
making cocoons there to stay
Speechless
Your hair falls over your face
each curl more intricate than the last
all coming together perfectly
Flawless
Your eyes are the glimmer of hope
that I've been searching for in my dreams
I was looking in the wrong places
Everywhere
Your lips curl at the seams
in such a lovely way I almost forgot
how to stop smiling myself
Contagious

Seasons of you
You let your fingertips delicately trace
over the freshly bloomed flowers I have
grown for you in my heart,
oh what a feeling this is
Spring
I've always been afraid of the water
but with the ocean behind your lips
I long for a swim, let me in
so I can take a dip inside
Summer
I've always loved the leaves that slowly
spiral to the ground, but I love the
chocolate in your eyes that swirl and
melt together in a perfect harmony
of bliss more
Fall
My heart was ice cold...

You don't have to like me, it's okay I get it really. You don't have to hold your breath whenever I walk by, or look the other way when In enter the same room. Comfortable
I look to him at the same time he looks to me, we both smile.
Butterflies
We wake up nestled in blankets, headphones still on from the night before, the hours on the call still ticking by.
Long Distance.
He shoots me a simple “hi” and my heart melts.
Easy.
He tells me I’m beautiful and that he loves me, after we fought for the fourth time that day.
I forgive him.
We have nothing to talk about, so we send each other random words to take up the empty space between us.
Boredom
I cry to my friends when he’s done something wrong, they all advise me...

Darkness to Light
The dark is overwhelming Father.
So dark I can barely see.
The blood drenches the photo of my family.
The blood may drain from my clothing, but forever is will stain my heart and mind.
Remembrance for all who were slain.
I tried to retrieve the body Father, the body of your son.
By the time I got there the bodies were a ton.
I tried Father I promise, I tried hard not to cry. But Father here I sit one last bullet in my gun.
Please do not cry Father, please do not try to recover my body, do not put your emotions on the risk.

Love Someone
What do you do , when you love someone?
When every time you think about them your heart races , and your cheeks burn?
What do you do when you love someone , but they love someone else?
Can you say anything? Of course not. You only want the best for them.
You want them happy. Giving everything you have to make it possible.
But what about yourself? Is that even possible?
To love someone so much , without knowing them enough to tell them why?
Spilling your heart out on pages , that will never be heard of. Yet freezing up when...
