POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
¤ I don't know what I'm doing.
Sugar-Coated Complex
Forgive me Moonlight,
For I have sinned.
It seems a sweet taste is only a Whisper.
Edge so close.
I told you it'd never happen again,
But it seems you know what that means.
Please forgive me.
I have committed a crime,
Candy flavored Sunrise.
It can be finished soon,
I said do not do it.
If I know the hole, what is the meaning?
For I have sinned.
It seems a sweet taste is only a Whisper.
Edge so close.
I told you it'd never happen again,
But it seems you know what that means.
Please forgive me.
I have committed a crime,
Candy flavored Sunrise.
It can be finished soon,
I said do not do it.
If I know the hole, what is the meaning?

In Hard Time Heart Beats
Have you ever fallen hard, between the lines of letters?
The ones of the words that get flung at your face,
Those hidden meanings, without thought.
Oh, how they burn; oh, how they slice; oh, how mean.
Ostracized
Victimized
Small in size
Compromise
It's all we have sometimes
There's a fire in my soul, gears on my fingers, steaming up the room.
I'm thinking. My mind working. My mind hurting.
There's hands on my brain, fingers sifting through round records.
Who knew? Who knew? I've got things up there I never knew.

Connection
Checking in, All systems green, Connection unsuccessful
On Monday, at 5:28 p.m. I will die
Under the Eiffel Tower, On a full moon
Sitting in a river, Under a dazzling bright day
Error! Error!
On Tuesday, at 7:09 a.m. I will die
Whispering words into my hair, Slurping down a lemonade
Feeling the grass between my toes, Lying in bed on the second floor
Error! Error!
On Wednesday, at 12:45 p.m. I will die
Sitting quietly, Plucking flowers from the air
Watching whales jump over rainbows, And listening to god...

Words Reach My Throat
I am words
A vague poem
To twist your own ideals around
I am words
A remix of a dictionary
I am words
Sputtering
Stuttering
I am words
No logical order
No intelligent sense
I am words
All day dreams
And elusive things
I am words
Hurting the biter
I am words
A story
Without an ending
No climax
or big reveal
I am words
All adjectives
No nouns
I am words
In the figure of a girl
I am words
Failing to create meaning
I am words...

The Day the Sky Fell
I picked up a shard of the glass, clouds laid dead at my feet.
Gears clicked and clacked into place above my head, nobody looked up, nobody saw the sky fall.

When Life Breathes at Night
Sometimes nights turn to days
With open eyes, I lay
Perfectly still, waiting to die
When my alarm goes off, I try not to cry
There's words in my head
But now they are dead
I gave them life, I gave them light
But these words I never write
They're a thousand dreams
Dreams of kings and queens
Of Dragons and knights
Daydreams I only have at night
They're rhymes that could be songs
But the timing's wrong
It's dark and I have no where to write
When life breathes at night
With open eyes, I lay
Perfectly still, waiting to die
When my alarm goes off, I try not to cry
There's words in my head
But now they are dead
I gave them life, I gave them light
But these words I never write
They're a thousand dreams
Dreams of kings and queens
Of Dragons and knights

Oh No
Life is a daydream,
It's splitting at the seams.
It seems reality,
Is not a fan of fantasy.
It's splitting at the seams.
It seems reality,
Is not a fan of fantasy.

It's Never Truly Earned, the Right Way
To be better, to be worse
To stand above and feel no thirst
Dig down beneath
Inside the bodies' lost heat
Cleanse your poverty in their blood
Stand back and feel no love
Honored with knighthood
You've earned nothing that you should
But you'll never be torn down
Because the masses just drown
In all your bank appointed honor
And peer praised valor
Wring your hands of the filth and gore
That once came with being poor
Now you're a cut above the rest
Claimed to be one of the very best
But you've sold yourself for...
To stand above and feel no thirst
Dig down beneath
Inside the bodies' lost heat
Cleanse your poverty in their blood
Stand back and feel no love
Honored with knighthood
You've earned nothing that you should
But you'll never be torn down

Now I Don't Know What to Do
I've spent my whole life thinking, I ruined my mother's life.
That I was a mistake that took her away from being somebody's wife.
I've spent my whole life apologizing and hiding,
Sitting inside of myself, distracting myself from crying.
I've spent my whole life making myself into the perfect child,
Obedient, polite, helpful, meek, and mild.
I've spent my whole life in fear that she didn't want me,
The child that was an accident, that never should be.
And I've spent my whole life like that, fearing an assumption.
Never guessing she wanted a child...
That I was a mistake that took her away from being somebody's wife.
I've spent my whole life apologizing and hiding,
Sitting inside of myself, distracting myself from crying.

I May Be Schizophrenic, I'm Not Sure Though
It's midnight and I'm a grave
What clothes should I stuff myself into now?
I'm a liar
'Cuz it's one a.m. at time of writing
Somebody catch my breath
I'm a sinner with no time to spare
A clock maker that can't keep the grandfather clock in in his own home ticking
Self-absorbed I am
I may be
Take me down to the river bend
The fighting edge
What clothes should I force over my skin?
AM I PRETTY YET?!
Those strip tease shows keep messaging me on Skype
And I"m not sure what to do
I'm looking for friends
All I get is...

Stop Your Investment
Don't invest in me, the company's gone dry.
No refunds, we're sorry for your loss.
The CEO is gone, and the CFO is about to die.
Shareholders are running from the last boss.
We're sorry for the inconvenience, but the money's all gone.
Your time has been wasted, and our life is a wreak.
The employees are out on the street, it's all going wrong.
I can't be saved, so don't bother writing another check.

Is Pride a Bad Thing?
Is pride a bad thing?
I'm told it is
But I have no experience
With holding my tongue
Is pride a bad thing?
I'm told it is
Is it bad to like
The way I look?
Is pride a bad thing?
I'm told it is
That it holds me back
And doesn't let me grow
Is pride a bad thing?
I'm told it is
But I don't see how a little
Pride can hurt
I'm told it is
But I have no experience
With holding my tongue
Is pride a bad thing?
I'm told it is
Is it bad to like
The way I look?
Is pride a bad thing?
I'm told it is
That it holds me back
And doesn't let me grow
Is pride a bad thing?
I'm told it is
But I don't see how a little
