POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
The Faerie Path
Flying through the garden
On wings of turquoise beauty
A faerie, use to all things magic
Goes about her day-time duty.
With golden curls of perfect hair
And delicate, graceful moves
She wonders down the faerie path
In her tiny, faerie shoes.
So fond of this beautiful faerie-tale place
She seems to be confused.
Wondering down the faerie path
Among all others refused...
Oberon calls her, whispering softly
She knows her time is up.
Suddenly frightened by her near end
She whimpers like a pup.
She reaches the end of the faerie path...
On wings of turquoise beauty
A faerie, use to all things magic
Goes about her day-time duty.
With golden curls of perfect hair
And delicate, graceful moves
She wonders down the faerie path
In her tiny, faerie shoes.
So fond of this beautiful faerie-tale place
She seems to be confused.
Wondering down the faerie path
Among all others refused...
Oberon calls her, whispering softly
She knows her time is up.
Suddenly frightened by her near end
She whimpers like a pup.
She reaches the end of the faerie path...

Changing
The full moon rises
And all seems still
But from inside
I feel a chill.
Running out into the night
I find a place to hide
To turn into the awful beast
I've always been inside.
Tearing deep from inside my skin
I feel it hungry, new.
Bubbling right up to the surface
Craving humans like you.
I can't control the sudden change
from human to foul beast.
The only thing I remember now
Is that I want to feast.
And all seems still
But from inside
I feel a chill.
Running out into the night
I find a place to hide
To turn into the awful beast
I've always been inside.
Tearing deep from inside my skin
I feel it hungry, new.
Bubbling right up to the surface
Craving humans like you.
I can't control the sudden change
from human to foul beast.
The only thing I remember now
Is that I want to feast.
