I DONT WANNA TALK ABOUT IT
Lets not talk about her kiss,
Or the joy delivered by her lips.

The melody that is my heartbeat,
A song i cant even sing.
At every corner it seems to skip.
I shared my life like gossip,
But much like a toilet pit,
They all came to spit and take a shit.
Allowed others to take a sip,
Now i stare at what used to be me.
Playing a guitar with broken strings,
Much like my life swings.
No sense in holding onto dreams,
Slept believing it was me still,

A body that translates love,
Hands soft from the very first touch,
Smooth are the lips,
From the gentle kiss.

Forbidden
Forbidden was the word,
All i heard was hate.
A spear through my heart,
Every part of me got disturbed.
I had a heart attack for a moment.
Struck down i was back at zero,

She Cries In Her Sleep
A smile for the moment,
Shines through all the torment.
Strength for her children,
For them she becomes brave.
Abused for being a woman,
A female who bore him children,
Yet he calls her weakness,
In his eyes she is useless.
She is not allowed to be tired,
She must satisfy her husband.
Good woman she has a strong heart,
For her children she can't give up.
Late at night i hear her cries,
Why should she suffer in life.
Is she not a good wife,
Does she not deserve a smile?

AFRICAN SONG
African music blazing from ear to ear,
Music sung because of their fear,
Music that left them in tears.
Just looking at the blood smeared,
Reason for pain was never clear.
Everyday they hoped freedom was near,
The African song to them dear.
Looking beyond the clouds for sunshine,
All they hoped for was a better life.
The African child forgot how to smile,
All they could do was cry.

And forget being African was a crime.

Give Him Praise
When He calls noone can say no,
A door He opens noone can close.
He gave us love and more,
Such an honour for us to know.
For us He gave up so much,
Our sins transformed by love.
Never witnessed miracles as such,
And it was all out of love.
The cursed are blessed,
Relieved are the depressed.
All sins are forgiven,
For a true Lord has risen.
The blind given sight,
Wrong is made right,
Darkness turned into light,
For His love is so bright.
I'll love him forever.
He is the Alpha and Omega,...
