To Hate Mosquitoes
Latch, poison, take, leave,
Unnoticed,

die.
So soon?
Too late.
Can I sympathize?
What about the golden gates?
No.
Not for you.
Killer, dead.
But I didn't kill anyone?
But you did.
No? That's my nature.
And you're hated.
And you're ugly.
So, no, burn.

Adults
They watch you,
Smell you,
Scare you,
Stare at you,
But never hear you.
How could they?
They have not the nose,
Nor the freight,
Barley the ears,
And never the eyes,
Am I alone?
You start to wonder,
If nobody else,
Ever had the same suffer,
They never get it,
Maybe once they did,
Will you forget?
The pain that is?
So smell me,
See me,
Hear me,
Scare me,
Do as you please,
Cause you will never understand,
The feelings you tease.

A million pins prick her face,
Forcing her further into the ground,
She sinks down,
The sky watches as she is swallowed,
She closes her eyes,
And comes to deny,
That anything good will ever happen.

Have you no fear of trouble that nears?”
She calms her voice for answer,
I feel her arms envelope me,
I can no longer see,
Her body is bandaged,
I feel to apologize,
Her pain might never suffice,
For the suffering is deeper than her surface.

The Taste of Memories
My mouth is dry,
I taste the sands shy,
With memories of oasis water,
I wish it were hotter,
Is my mouth dry,
Even as I cry,
Words have left me here,
But I still fear,
The memories I came to bare,
Dry my mouth is,
From times different than this,
I long for something more,
My brain is now but a chore,
Mouth dry is my,
For I now know why,
I left behind my mind,
Now I must unwind,
With nothing of a talker.
