The Man In the Hourglass
It was not my intention
Not my Idea of a perfect relationship
The perfect man
My perfect match
But all in all
this is what I choose
And if I could do it over
I would chose him
All over again
The world sees him
Differently then I
I see a man
With a heart of gold
A man sorry he made choices
That keeps him from
His loved ones
Mom
Children
Keeps him from me
His mistakes
although
He was young
Just trying to come up
Just to have some fun
They were to much
For society to ignore

Regretfully Yours
My day began with you
I can feel you even before I am fully awake
Your touch reaches every inch of my legs
The sensitive lower part of my back
up my spine
to my neck and
slowly consuming my mind
How did I let it get this far
will I ever be free
of this prison

I was happy
I was fun
I loved to take long walks
in the sun
I loved to run
and dance in
the pouring rain
man, I had so much fun.
But thats all over
it was a different life
one I day dream about
as I lay on this couch

Holiday.. just another day.
Its just another day
as I awoke this morning
after I turned over in bed
and stretch
the cool feel of sheets
make me just wanna
fall back asleep
the emptiness
the loneliness
is at times enough
to make me weep
and especially on days
like this
these days are harder
only because hes not around
but I get up
knowing its got to be done
someone has to be here for my son
its the holidays that make
good childhood memories
sometimes i miss things
i know i could easily have
like a mans touch

I awoke with a scream
Tears burning my eyes
Falling freely
With visions of demons
I sob uncontrollably
The fear of what never happened
Or perhaps of what is
to be
The dreams that torment me
They are a living
Breathing entity

The Curse Of The Aquarius
My heart is big
And made of gold
My actions
prove my words
Helping those in need
Giving plenty
All of which are good deeds
A true friend to those
Oh so close to me
But little it does
To help me
People see weakness
From kindness

Goodbye
As I sit here staring
At the ceiling fan go round
I can see your face
as stupid as that sounds
I can see your smile
Your eyes
That stupid expression
When u don't get your way
Ugh! That frown
That frown makes me weak
It makes me wanna do anything
Anything at all
Just to see you smile again
Keeping you happy
That's all I want
All I've ever wanted
So now that you want
nothing to do with me
