POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
torn apart
You won’t be here with me but I can dream
The sweetest of dreams that linger when I wake
That grasps my breath and take
The very soul within
Goose bumps plague my skin and shake I, as shivers worm through the thin portal of this sweet, sweet dream to reality
A reality where my bed is lonely
A reality where my bed is cold
A reality where your warmth within is but a distant memory
Where the scenery in front of me is as dry and distasteful as the sight of an emaciated dog
The fog won’t lift from my baggy eyes
Nor will the echoes of your...

pleasure
Her eyes plead satisfaction.
Silk as soft as skin
Lips, warm and thin
Fingers, the softest tips like wool, yet claw at my willing flesh
Perfect creation clothed in barbed wire
“TAKE ME” moans tear from her throat like resisting fabric off her temple
Her eyes plead satisfaction.
Breathing masked by the pounding of her soul
Buttons released like shackles
“Quench the burning thirst of my desire” her eyes scream
The burning thirst met viscously with the fierce fire, of a man’s
Hood, over our body shielding sin from disbelieving eyes of...

void
If I had a heart I could love you
But a void is cold and filled with the loudest silence
Silence of the purest gold
Emptiness caused by the lust of a thousand men
I love you, she said. Yes, the one before you
But I did not love her. because love isn’t true
The lengthy walk on this crooked road
That twists and turns and slithers and worms
We laugh and cry then fight and try
But the road we took is a filthy lie
Beautiful birds sang, the grass was green, the flowers boomed
Now the road has cracks and the birds have died.
I did not love...
