Moments of solace..
Sometimes I wish,
To get away from it all!
And find solace,
Somewhere deep in the woods!
But how can I escape,
From the memories?
It is not that,
I have not tried.
The woods were great,
But only for a moment perhaps.
The only moments
Of solace and tranquility
If ever, I remember,
Were the ones,
where I fell asleep,
With my head resting
In my mother's lap!

Shine my Son!
You lit up my life,
Wiped out all my strife!
You brought to me
My childhood back!
Your innocence,
Your sweetness!
Your tenderness,
Made me humble again!
Buddy you're my life,
Buddy you're my joy!
I know you'll forget this, as you grow!
Leave this nest, and off you'll go!
Wherever you go,
Whatever you do,
Son my heart's with you!
Son our hearts are with you!
Wiped out all my strife!
You brought to me
My childhood back!

Holding hands..
Holding hands..
Now they lay roses
Where you and I once lay!
Some express their sorrow
Some come just to pray!
Where were these bouquets of flowers
When You and I were chased!
Where were these affection towers,
When all our dreams were razed?
They wouldn't just let me near You,
They wouldn't just let me hear you!
They din't knew we were one,
Their objections mattered none!
For what we knew was true,
Our love would take us through!
A string's intertwined strands,
We leapt the cliff holding...
Now they lay roses
Where you and I once lay!
