LOVE POEM

Flourish
I would walk the distance in my head, Ticking off each mile In my mind
As a passenger awaiting the train to carry me to places I have only dreamed of
The exam results to scared to open of grades made, Or lost
I feel the fear and trepidation as anyone else would
These scenarios I've stopped playing out
My imagination drawn back and reigned in
You're too special to speculate how things might evolve over time
I'm just clearing a path right here
To make any transition I make flow with ease
whatever the outcome
my life will improve and flourish

Talk with me
And we will use up every word and then create new ones
Laugh with me
And bring joy into our hearts

Bedtime fears
Put our fears to bed
Let them awake when we are ready to face them together
A union of love
To defeat our foes and fears
Love conquors all
In time
We will stand tall
In our battle stance
Our hopes raised up

My baby
Dont you go racing your heart
Learn to walk
Side by side
Learn to talk once again
Be vocal
Raise your voice
Learn to hold on tight
Our hands tied
Together is but a dream
One worthy of revisiting

Anger Management
Tick each day off as if christmas was just around the corner
One more less of opening up to you
letting you unwrap me, jealous stares
Soon I'll be you're fucking gift no more
You make me wanna throw it all up
throw it in
give in
To keep up with you're searching and probing
is heartbreaking
This isnt hide and you shall seek
I'm well experienced at hiding
It was all those months apart
I've fine tuned you see
But thats it you dont see do ya
you dont see whats here in front of you
if only you did

Bright Eyes
Your eyes
So soft yet demanding in there clarity
You see more than me
My love for you comes and goes like tidal waters
But it's your love stays true
Holding me in a crushing embrace
Gladly i accept everytime my breath to escape me
As you take it away with you
Until we breathe as one
Keep up the pursuit
Dont lose sight of me
With your demanding eyes
One day it will become beautiful
As we finally make eye contact
And kiss like lovers
Then you can really take my breath away
To keep forever in your heart
So soft yet demanding in there clarity

Boundries
I don't see beyond my own boundries
To look over the fence would be foolhardy
I'm no devil in disguise
At times you think i am
Like so many times before
You would be unfortunately mistaken
For it's you who would have to peer over mine
I dont think you have the courage to attempt this
I dont see it as something to work on
Just numbers we are
Both looking
Years will pass
In the end just a number
Both in the end deciding not to look to closely
Mabe like so many times before
I too would be unfortunately mistaken
I'm not jumping...

Heard that song filtering across the airwaves
just floating, Like it was yesterday
Carefree days of killing blows
and shining lights
Peaceful
The picture fills the screen after all this time

Spooning
Will you be in my arms as the birds sing their morning call
Your heart, Will it beat the same tune as mine when the dawn breaks
I think they will always beat in time
I imagine you in my arms
as we drift in and out of slumber
your hand in mine as we spoon
feeling my breathing upon your neck
My arm wrapped across you like a shield
to ward off enemies of the night
Our hearts slowing down after racing together
from lovers nighttimes activities
I feel it's beating from within
a slow calming rhythm
though I cannot tell
if it's mine or yours as...
