Broken
Broken and tortured body
Circumstances beyond my control
No longer who or what I once was
Hopes and dreams shattered
Useless to those in my life
Reminders given to me daily
Can no longer clean your messes
Cannot fullfil your needs
Just a pile of worthless bones
A total inconveniece in everybody's way
Unappreciated and pushed aside
Biding my time and waiting to die

Dancing With Skeletons
Are you man or woman enough
to open the closet door?
To expose yourself and your sins
for ALL to see?
Can you peer at your own image
without flinching in disgust?
Would you prefer to lie to yourself
along with deceiving everyone else?
Ask yourself one final question.....
atleast be honest with your own soul
Would you rather waltz with the Devil himself
or dance with your own skeletons my friend?

Undeserving
Life choices that i have made
Have been far from the best
Ive hurt you and others
With my blatant selfishness
I try to grow everyday
Make up for times passed
Thank you for loving me enough
To allow me to clean up my mess
I treated your love like a toy
Acted as if I am a spoiled child
Only caring about what I want
But life isn't a game of chess

Our Second Chance
I have made many mistakes
Your love has lifted me up
Shown forgiveness that I don't deserve
I love you more than words can say
Everything that I could ever desire
Is inside the walls of our home
That's where I find your loving embrace
My promise to you is to never again stray
The unmatched passion the two of us share
Is something that everyone dreams of finding
Even after the 20 years that we've been together
My hunger is near impossible to keep at bay
We have both recommitted ourselves to our love
Promised to do all the work...

So Proud of You
You have grown into such an amazing young woman
The kind that every parent dreams of
The strength that you have found within yourself
Completely floors me everyday
You have survived being violated at such an early age
You have had your struggles
Because of the pain made some bad decisions
But rose out of that world of decay
Im so sorry that I didn't know what was happening
I will never forgive myself
But I refuse to dwell on that dark past
I would go back and change things if I could find a away
We have traveled a long and winding...
