One Wish

I want to fall insanely in love
with a beautiful woman,
someone that wants me
for me,
my mind,
my heart,

I want to make love to her
all weekend, in a snow covered cabin.
I want to take my time,
flowers,
fruit,
candles,
juice, toast,
blankets and
no clothes all weekend.

I want to explore every
flawed nook and cranny.
I want to live, unchained.
I want to crave her
and care for her.

I want to kiss for hours on end.
I want to chase her
around the cabin
with one of those...

There you stood without waiver
basking in the moonlight
framed like a ghost in its glow

My heart reaches out
to a distance too far
your light overpowering

Is this my truth
or a dream that got away
pulling me along

How long should I yearn
and peer into the brightness
lighting my shadows

How far from the truth
will I survive
without your caress

How can I hold on
to something I can’t touch
why does it elude me

How long will it wait
for a dream
to escape
