It starts to creep over you, slowly growing like a shadow.

It starts to rapidly spread like there's poison ivy in your soul.

It circles you as you live a life that's not even worth living anymore.

There's no escape from the monster that consumes your life, no release from the demon that takes over everything.

Gravestones carve themselves in my head.
Blood soaks through the snowy white carpet.
Knives fall from the once innocent hands of my soul.
My heart has broken into pieces I can't put back together.

Pure used to fit like a glove but now it burns my body and runs from me.
The sound of a broken mind is all that remains in my pitch black thoughts.
Sometimes things can be fixed, but as of now things are beyond repair.
