The debris of loss
I find myself on the precipice of life
where the shadows of destiny
swirl like the clouds beneath me
I have lost the reason to continue
for even love has cursed me
with a smile
The path is strewn with the debris of loss
All the stars collapse in heaven
when you find yourself
talking to god
I can’t unlock the emotions you feel
or the dreams we abandoned
but somewhere in the universe
we will find each other
where the shadows of destiny
