Where Drums Beat
My heart was helpless, my hands were idle
I looked for you, everywhere for you
Did you forget me, did you forget I was there
There among the rocks and the gravel, sitting
Crying How long does it take to go back
Back to the place you went so long ago
And when you go, when you go, will you know
Will you know
I was there too?
You said everywhere you looked were reminders
Clouds and rain, books and windowpanes
Did you forget they remind me too, did you forget
There I was waiting for you to take my hand
