Lately it’s getting so hard
To take things back
Chasing dreams
Yet cannot see
When I am faced with all I need
Still always looking past
The very things

Only crumpled up memories

People always want to talk the talk
Takes a special someone to walk the walk
Speak out and say it like it is
Being a sick prick because I don’t give a shit
So pass me a drink for we can kick it old school

Perfect Fantasy
Staring at the blood from stars
Diamonds hitting our eyes
Breeze from the cold night
Making us think we can fly
Two birds side by side
Looking toward forever
Never turning back
Team for a lifetime
Only you and I
When I close my eyes
It’s you I see
Opening them up to find
That I’m still dreaming
Hoping to never wake up
From this perfect fantasy
Sleeping in arms

Not As Good As I Used To Be… (Co-written with diamonddave75)
Wanting to stay is never enough
Distance goes on in everything
In everyone, it’s true
Felt the dark and cold
Pushed the good away
Till the day it came back to me
Realized there’s ways to kill the pain
Still, there is art in fucked up tragedy
And now that side has gone missing
Till it comes back running, it’s true
What I love will ultimately change
So don’t tell me I’m not breathing
Not living the way I’m supposed to be!
Doing the right things, the wrong way
The right way, is what I decide for me!

Brothers Conflict
With his blade to your flesh
And my cross around your neck
We play this dance
Might be romantic if it didn’t end so tragic
Seven years we were lovers
Along time for a mortal
More like a blink to a godless creature
Still each moment resonated in my mind
200 years to finally find the one
The one to break my heart
My brother set the stage
Intrigued you with his vileness ways
Making you believe he was just misunderstood

So I placed a cross around that slender neck
