Simply The End
While I hold the phone to my ear,
"There's no future for us",
Are the words I hear,
I instantly feel hollow and dead inside,
As more is said,
Im pushed aside once again,
Why am I so worthles I ask,
A question unto myself,
I always knew happiness was just a mask,
It really must be true,
Noone can really love me,
Even though I moved across the world for you,
I gave up my entire life for you,
You said you loved,
You said you'd never leave,
Now I see otherwise and know only pain and strife,
Your voice is soft while you say...

When Do You Surrender
When do you surrender,
After love has gone away,
Do you give in quickly,
Or does it take you days?
Can you still feel the pain,
After a month goes by,
Are your eyes sore and red,
From the tears that you still cry.
Do you continue to feel empty,
Into the next new year,
Does your soul feel cold and barren,
Because your love is no longer near.
Are your mornings filled with anguish,
Eyes constantly filled with tears,
And nights plagued with deathly nightmares,
From all your lonely fears.
Do you walk along in...
After love has gone away,

In The Life of Me
Another day's journey hast begun,
Yet another dream hath come undone,
At a lost love's picture I sit and stare,
It's of my love that she's no longer aware,
The tears are again falling from my eyes,
But noone hears my saddened cries,
I can hear my heart start to groan,
Am I doomed to always be alone,
There's gotta be somebody out there for me,
If only someone would give me a chance they'd see,
All the love and care I have to give,
And in happiness together we would live,
I know in looks I am a test, ...

Notes of Heartache
My ears are covered
Yet the notes of heartache hover
Every song I hear
The notes of heartache in my ears
Every flower I see
Notes of heartache all around me.
The notes of heartache all around
A constant, repeating, and depressing sound
The happiness cannot be found
The dreams are gone and lay lifeless on the ground.
My heart now feels dark and cold
The notes of heartache make me feel bitter and old
The essence within now black as coal
Notes of heartache have put to death my soul
A lump in my throat, I feel like I'm chokin'...
Yet the notes of heartache hover
Every song I hear
The notes of heartache in my ears
Every flower I see
Notes of heartache all around me.
The notes of heartache all around

The Rain of Pain
Sitting in the dark,
I feel no living spark,
Well after midnight's bell has rung,
After love's last song has been sung,
Alone in this void black as pitch,
Thoughts race in my mind a mental snitch,
The rain is building behind the wall,
Welling up preparing to fall,
Looking down from way up high,
I wonder if I can fly,
Spread my arms like wings,
Ready to jump straight off with a spring,
The air feels rushed,
My breath is crushed,
Why did I try,
Now I can only die,
From this...

Dying Alone
A battle is looming
Another war about to begin
But within moments it will end
Within moments lives are lost
Souls will be broken
Bodies turned to dust
I hear the sound of the incoming strike
An audible reaper approaching
An explosion shakes the ground
I feel myself falling
No sense to try and catch myself
Another one is coming
Like rapid fire all around
I'm numb and desensitized
My body moves and yet I'm paralyzed
I see medics running to my aid
Their names are strange
Hopeless and Worthless

Lost In Lighted Dark
I exhale my last breath
I'm alive but feel like death
My heart is broken
Soul is crushed
Supposedly I'm loved
But anymore it's never spoken
I see a light
But I feel so dark
I fear my angel won't ever hark
My will is gone
No purpose left
From any reason I am bereft
There once was a love
A life I thought I had
Turned out only a dream
Now I'm naught but sad
Why get up
To face the day
It's only going to end the very same way
Me alone
All by myself
I'm the only book
On life's Lonely shelf

Walking In Circles
Why do I try,
What's the point,
It's all a lie,
Life is out of joint.
There once were dreams,
Inside my head,
Now it seems,
That they're all gone and dead.
I thought I found my smile,
A reason to each morning awaken,
Life is a sinister trial,
My spirit has been shaken.
I give a little,
I give a lot,
My heart is now far too brittle,
My soul feels dead on this very spot.
I walked to the park,
Late last night,
I paced circles in the dark,
Noone else in sight.
I wondered the reason,

The Light On The Mountain
While standing on a mountaintop,
A wise woman came to me,
From her lips the words began,
To my ears they flew like wind off a fan.
"From where you are you can see,
Everything from the oceans to the seas,
And if you learn from your mistakes,
Then truly successful you will be!"
Then the wise woman disappeared,
And in her place a light appeared,
That led me down the mountainside,
Until I was home and safe inside!!!

Battlefield Behind The Door
The bombsgo off and I awake,
Walls once sturdybegin to shake,
Eventhe floor beneathstarts to quake.
Stomping feet are loudly heard,
Another bullet starts to whir,
The war is coming, of this I'm sure.
Artillery goes flying past,
Putting holes in walls and breaking glass,
How long will the battle last?
The screaming, stress, and strain,
I've been hit bad and feel the pain,
I try to cover the wounds but it's all in vain.
I live in a battlefield behind the door,
Why can't I escape this war,
Life is slipping away once...

The Death Inside
Once there was an angel sighing,
I made her feel like she was flying,
But now I see the feelings were lying,
And deep inside my soul is dying.
Waterfalls of tears I'm crying,
No more will to keep on trying,
No longer will I keep denying.
I am a knight,
But not of light,
I should've kept my heart from sight,
But now it's gone and taken flight.
I feel I'm cursed to wander the night,
I should've known I wasn't right,
But all too late as my heart and soul have died tonight.
I made her feel like she was flying,
But now I see the feelings were lying,
And deep inside my soul is dying.

The Rose
Alone she's been for many years,
Living in darkness with all her fears,
In the corner she sits crying so many tears,
Does she know I love her?
To herself she tries to keep,
Bad dreams haunt her while she's asleep,
Through a life of sorrow she tries to creep,
Does she know I need her?
Walking through the garden one fine day,
This beautiful rose looks my way,
She asks me if I'd like to stay,
Does she know she's so beautiful?
She's a beautiful work of art,
In her new life I am a part,
