Yet another day has come and gone.
But to say it's getting better without you is just a con.
I've cried, cursed, and cried until I can cry no more.
But still the memory of losing you leave my heart sore.
You were my mom, my best friend, my rock, my safe place.
Now your gone to live in the light of grace.
I swear I can hear your voice in my mind as I sit waiting for dawn.
And I'm my mind I can say your never really gone.

Sitting here alone as always thinking of you.
Wondering to myself can this be real, it must be true.
Asking my heart that has been repeatedly broken, are you ready to live again?
The 1 who is making these new thoughts of love begin.
So highly guarded if this beating heart I hold.
I tell myself if it's love you seek then you must be bold.
For if I continue to shut out all his love this heart shall turn cold.
Then this story of hurt, pain, and now love will never be told.
So as I'm sitting here thinking of you
