Poet Introduction
Profound are the most simple of questions. Yet, the most difficult to comprehend. We’re never too old to learn something new where imagination and creativity collaborate to reinterpret what the stars are telling us.
Unto the Gentle Bee is the Honey
Her hair, nails and makeup for all to see
Attention is to detail on her time
Peculiar, the female facade to he
Noticing a certain rhythm to her rhyme
Subtle, not the calling of a young man
Attention to detail not of design
Goal oriented is the quest at hand
Point A to point B is in the straight line
The first lesson is patience for waiting
Unknown are the steps unto her dance
Treat her like a lady when your dating
A true gentleman’s hand will find romance
In due time beautiful flowers will bloom ...
Attention is to detail on her time
Peculiar, the female facade to he
Noticing a certain rhythm to her rhyme
Subtle, not the calling of a young man
Attention to detail not of design
Goal oriented is the quest at hand
Point A to point B is in the straight line
The first lesson is patience for waiting
Unknown are the steps unto her dance

A true gentleman’s hand will find romance
In due time beautiful flowers will bloom ...

Lonely People
Psalms 34:18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
The world can be a cold place for a soul
Isolation languishing in the dark
Depression deepens unto a black hole
To where mental dissolutions embark
And once beyond the event horizon
Loneliness seeks the singularity
The soul surrenders life unto wizen
Self reflection’s lost specularity
When there's nobody there, what do you care?
Eleanor Rigby - The Beatles
The message in a bottle cast to sea ...
The world can be a cold place for a soul
Isolation languishing in the dark
Depression deepens unto a black hole
To where mental dissolutions embark
And once beyond the event horizon
Loneliness seeks the singularity
The soul surrenders life unto wizen
Self reflection’s lost specularity
When there's nobody there, what do you care?

The Golden Rule
A tenant of most religions…is the Golden Rule
Recently, a poetess made a nice comment on my Mother’s Day poem. She made reference to honoring Mother Nature; of which the comment struck me as interesting. It made me to think of Earth Day which is celebrated on April 22 each year. Which in turn, took me down a path of convoluted thought, rather broad in perception and introspective. I stumbled across a quote attributed to Chief Dan George -“We are as much alive as we keep the Earth alive.” Thus, bringing me back full circle to where I began. It is there, with the realization of my...

Come Hell or High Water
Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. KJV
Unconditional love I do give to you
I am your shelter from fire and rain
Come Hell or High Water
Literal and figuratively did not agree
Tuesday preempting Saturday’s vows
of mortal flesh and blood am I…still
yesterday…was so many years ago
And on that Friday...
