POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Destroyed us
I placed a flower in my hands,
so delicate and beautiful.
Clenched my fist shut tightly,
watched the petals screw in fear.
Opened my palm to withered petals,
destroyed by me not age.
The red dye ran down my fingers,
from life that once existed.
The stains they linger.
The stains they linger.
so delicate and beautiful.
Clenched my fist shut tightly,
watched the petals screw in fear.
Opened my palm to withered petals,
destroyed by me not age.
The red dye ran down my fingers,
from life that once existed.
The stains they linger.
The stains they linger.

Hours of darkness
Oh how I yearn
to sail on the moon
and look down at the sea.
For reflections of such beauty
no one else did see.
to sail on the moon
and look down at the sea.
For reflections of such beauty
no one else did see.

Depression
I'm there again
How do I even describe this?
I can't.
It's like there is a cloud of smoke
It's filling the air around me
It's filling my lungs too
Turning them to coal
Yet there Is no fucking fire
I'm angry, frustrated, upset
with myself for breathing it in
even though i couldn't have
predicted it.
There we're no warning signs
or fire alarms.
It's a constant battle against
the unknown and the reality is,
how do I defeat something
when It's inside me?
When I can't see through ...
How do I even describe this?
I can't.
It's like there is a cloud of smoke
It's filling the air around me
It's filling my lungs too
Turning them to coal

My skies are grey and
the shape of the clouds
match your birthmark.
I remember
running my fingers over it
and letting my lips
rain kisses down your left hip.
I can't look at the sky anymore.
the shape of the clouds
match your birthmark.
I remember
running my fingers over it
and letting my lips
rain kisses down your left hip.
I can't look at the sky anymore.

Maybe, just maybe
If there Is no such thing as time,
just clocks.
Then maybe
there Is no such thing as existence,
just bodies.
Maybe.
just clocks.
Then maybe
there Is no such thing as existence,
just bodies.
Maybe.

Soaked
Immersing myself
slowly
the water rises
softly brushing
my cheeks
as i force my head
down down deeper
Laying flat
eyes closed tight
everything is blurry
feeling the cold water
surrounding my face
My lungs
they cry out to me
but i don't want to hear
drowning them out
with water
like a fire fighter
am i brave?
My chest
its heavy
like I'm carrying
my whole life's weight
upon it and
bubbles escape
from my lips
The life
my life
its being sucked
from...

Skies
The sky is blue
but I feel bluer
and the thing is
I don't see sunshine
on the horizon.
but I feel bluer
and the thing is
I don't see sunshine
on the horizon.

Trace lines on your back
with my finger like the roads of a map
and when i reach your neck
there my lips will be home.
with my finger like the roads of a map
and when i reach your neck
there my lips will be home.

Waning Crescent
Sink in my skin
carve from my bones
vitiate me
carve from my bones
vitiate me

Shadows always leave us In the dark
It's 3am again and
with every car that passes,
It's headlights invade my room.
The shadows on my wall
are a silhouette of you.
I wait in anticipation
with every passing car,
as I lay sleepy eyed and
curled up watching you like art.
I know eventually It will
be light again and
you will be gone once more.
So then
why does my heart break
that I open my eyes
and you' exist no more?
with every car that passes,
It's headlights invade my room.
The shadows on my wall
are a silhouette of you.
I wait in anticipation
with every passing car,
as I lay sleepy eyed and
curled up watching you like art.
I know eventually It will
be light again and
you will be gone once more.
So then
why does my heart break
that I open my eyes
and you' exist no more?

I'm not your favorite weather
Sometime I feel like the sky,
nobody notices me
unless there Is some big change.
A rainbow,
the darkness of today's clouds or
a big storm with a flash of lightening.
Yet my head is a constant tornado,
that goes by unnoticed.
nobody notices me
unless there Is some big change.
A rainbow,
the darkness of today's clouds or
a big storm with a flash of lightening.
Yet my head is a constant tornado,
that goes by unnoticed.
