Bitz-n-Bitz
Crashing out on the hood
In the middle of traffic
Acting out the tendencies
of a psychopathic
Searching for something
that isn't so graphic
An epiphany of sorts;
Amidst all the havoc
Not so heavy
Not so hard
Carry on with the abuse
I'm already scarred
No infliction too deep
the canvas is clean
Clear of imperfection
& the pull of my gene
So, slowly
break through
the rock walls of my skin
to permanently engrave
Your memory within...

Last Hurrah
A passage traveled
A secret kept
Shared are the triumphs
& tears which we've wept
From fare weather
through knee-deep
I held my breath:
As you lay asleep
Chances are regular
& come to those
who seek
So, climb upon a mountain
& jump from it's peak
Neither dispair nor pain
shall be spent in vein
Creation unfolding;
A legacy remains
Live lyfe as a journey ...

& don't know why
The situation is clear
but
I cannot get by
Being held up;
while I'm going down hill
Waisting precious moments
Just for the thrill
Buying my time;
I can see that she's waiting
for the next stage

It's been so long
since my pockets
were empty
Now
I can't remember
what it's like to have it all
I was living
in the clouds
with
nothing to loose
Now
I'm on the ground
without an excuse
Without
the one's around
me
who contribute
to the cause
My lyfe
would be in
shambles
Another victim
who is lost
Though this time is grey
It's not...

Floating feather's
fall from the sky
Forcing my feelings
to freeze up & die
Seeing them slowly
sway in the Sun
Spins me in circles
as I'm coming undone

I'm standing here
speechless
Stranded & scared
Showing these secrets
I've struggled to share
Perpetuating problems
Prolong
the people's pain
Punishing the proud ...

Lined up in a row
Blindly I pointed
& fired my ammunition
With a single shot
I killed your ambition

Burning vapors
fogging the view
It's a free country

you might as well sue
Collecting what's yours
while completing
your chores
Greasing the palms
as they open their door's
Full to the brim
Still asking for more
Saying: Oh well
as it spills to the floor
No concern for the mess
No lies to confess
Just a fake smile
& need to impress
Torn at the seams
Filled with
American dreams

to hand out some licks

& I'll cause more drama
than an Alien invasion
Disrespect me;
Calling me names
Speaking in tongues
playing little girl games

to think about others
Don't be so self-centered:
What about your brothers?
