Light
Lift me up,
Just to break me down,
Wipe my tears,
Only to push me to the ground
Soulless eyes,
Bleeding into my life,
Web of words,
Spun into a beautiful lie,
You don't love me,
You said you wished I would die,
You lift me up,
Only to slam me down,
Back to reality,
You've taken my crown,
How can I get over this?
Your love is like a bottomless lake,
And I can't swim,
You laugh at me while I drown,
Broken promises,
Empty words,
Constantly questioning my self worth,
You mock...
Just to break me down,

My savior,
My darkness,

My Evil.
He was my smile
My heart,
My tears,
My laughter,
My pain.
He was the one who,
Broke me,

Beat me,
Destroyed me.
He gave me,
Life,
Lessons,
Love,
Duties.
He lied to me,
Cheated me,
Hit me,
Hugged me,
Despised me.
He was full of,
Broken promises,
Darkness,
Booz,
Suffering.
He was my,
Lover,

Insanity Within Humanity
She looks over the edge of temptation,
They whisper in her ear,
"One more step my dear,
All your worries will disappear."
She questions her sanity,
With more pills made by humanity,
That state her mental health,
Is the reason for her insanity.
She tells herself it's time to go,
To the world's end,
No one will ever have to know.
One leap of faith,
For an angel with no wings,
She jumps forward,
Listening to the things,
She has been called.

Misogyny Within Society
Dress like this,
Dress like that,
Don’t wear that in public at all,
Shave your arms,
Shave your legs,
Make sure you are a blank canvas,
For others to write rules,
For others to write regulations,
For others to write wage gaps,
For others to write “back handed compliments”
Yet if your canvas is damaged,
Left with no love or care,
You are left to repair it yourself,
Your canvas with rules from others,
Ruined because of non-consent,
You were a masterpiece once,
Ruined by the Misogyny,

Crystal lakes inside soulless eyes,
Snow melting on limbs of weakness,
Fiery gold cascading from overhead,
A pinch of “self hate”
A pinch of “self questioning”

Scars from the sharpest words,
