An update on Austin

Hey everybody,

This is Austin’s sister Tina. It’s with great sadness that I must inform you that Austin took his life in August of this year. Poetry was his life and I just wanted to thank you all for being there to support my brother. We are all heartbroken over this loss, but perhaps through his poetry- my brother will live on forever ❤️

Goodbye Candice, Goodbye Cruel World

I’m done
Finished
Over it

She’s never coming back. She left me for that worm Jermaine. Jermaine who defiles her when he feels like it. Jermaine who treats her like dirt.

I would have treated you like a queen, Candice. You were my only love. My entire heart.

I can’t go on. This world is not for me. Time to end it all.

I loved you
I fucking trusted you
When you left you told me there was nobody else
So imagine my surprise when I walked in on you two
Your legs wrapped around his head
Like some great slut squid
All I’ve ever shown you is unconditional love
How long has this been going on?
You left me for another poet?
Is he better than me?
I intend to find out!!

You stepped all over my heart
Like it was cheap, redneck cocaine
You stepped all over my heart
Come and step on it again

You insulted the size of my manhood
You laughed at my pain and my tears
You shared our bed with another
Confirming ev’ry one of my fears

My sweet Candice, you inspire me to write.
I hate the way you Run and disappear,
Invading my ev’ry day and through the night,
Always dreaming about these lonely years.

Would you compare me to the broken moon?
I am more sullen and devastated
Dark sun heats the crippled peaches of June,
