POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
A Fisherman's Tale
through the salt water, i see a native
of the school, a most desirable vagabond
i could see it, but not clearly
but i imagined
i imagined radiant scales
maybe a peculiar personality
possibly brilliance
i had to have it
for some reason, i was attracted
of course there are plenty fish in the sea
naturally
this beautiful thread fin does not school
she swims deep
a shallow line will not hook this one
She bit!
i questioned,
could this not be what i expected?
could i be wasting my time
naive to...

outcast or outliers
the world needs to change
not in the way people think or act
the way people are afraid to think or act a certain way
because the walls of society forbid us, even in a free country
free, but not free of judgement which is the inevitable truth
its the bullies of Benjamin Franklin
who keep heads up
its the free thinkers who were outcasts
or were they brilliant
sometimes the line seems blurred

Once a nice kid
once a nice kid, walks through the halls with hope
kept to himself, soft spoken kid. his heart was good natured
once a nice kid, as he would listen to beathovens moonlight sonata and drool over the brilliance of Starry Starry night in his free time, he would have gladly given his left earlobe to his only love of his life
mother
once a nice kid, entrusted his mother. "The whole world isn't against you!" or was it? its hard to tell when school is your world
his plush friends would be there to comfort him
he loved those friends
Mom got cancer...

Making Anew
Making new memories. Every day. Every day. Every Day.
none were the same, same, same
Like when it used to raid, and rain, and rain
I remember the pain, oh that pain, what i thought was pain
But one day it changed
I had to relate, to what?
to what i couldn't?
to what i was not taught?
the thought of being a familiar native, to be an expert of those unseen
but i am no pioneer
Bu then it changed again, before my eyes, retreating
this time, my mind. i am a turtle to this such aggressive nature of the native, though unnatural. ...
