Addiction
I equate being an artist to being in toxic relationships...
It takes more than it gives, and you'll always need it more than it needs you…
A love of a different kind, 'cause it's indifferent…it isn't mine,
An all-encompassing hunger, and it's...eating me alive,
This haunting, plundering thunder that just needed me to drive,
A most intoxicating god...that doesn't care if I exist,
And I'm so lost debating odds, when it's just there, 'cause I insist...
You say that I'm withdrawing; "just a drawing"..? "just a poem"?--
No, it's a...

Blind Spot
What good is proof, when it's degrading, and failed debating it's modesty?
The truth is, there's nothing more alienating than honesty--
and it's ironic isn't it..? I had stock in a savior,
Fixing iconic innocence, myopic in nature,
When time stopped...eyes locked, and I opted to save her--
but I'm not, 'cause I got lies pocketing favors--
who sky-rocket to find God...somebody's gotta do it,
I'm trying to find my blind-spot, somebody's gotten through it,
They're pushing an agenda...while silencing ours,
Single-file, societies spiraling downwards,
And...

"Fix for The Fixer"
This day in age, ignorance is not only a choice--
It is a learned behavior that is practiced, and passed down…
So let's get 'em angry…political; they're lazy and cynical
gangrene from liberal playthings and criminals,
Threaten to slay kings, take these as literal…
Lately, you say "please, praise Jesus" to ridicule,
and hate freely...break free, as if they've reached the pinnacle,
"Take me"…"save me", they gave meaning to pitiful,
Empower yourselves...devouring a fallacy
just hours from Hell, where battlefields of cavalries...

NewSpeak..Thought Police..
Truth-seekers often leak--far more than information,
News sweeps that laud defeat...all for discrimination,
Y'all saw the indication; cross the street,
In truth?...we'll seek a bar before our vindication..
Run late to come anew; love and hate for blood and booze,
One straight, one askew, for fucking sake, it's subterfuge,
Our troubled fate's another ruse…in other news,
It's social manipulation, intimidation is nothing new,
Total capitulation, the situation is...'wonderful'...
Drones over...

People think I'm arrogant…that I bully them with intellect,
Apparently, America's a pulley-system disconnected..
Prison sentence, victim-esque of cynicism it ingests,
It's a lesson in living less, inherently...with sin and death,
Been in debt, but warily...Introspective as Winston Smith,
And Big Brother had him in check--this isn't Chess, it's Internet,
And the tele-screens we've paid for...
We've traded freedoms for felonies, just keep telling me that we've saved more...
Our well-being is...

We've got fistfuls of misery.. Pistols and split-skulls, insults to injury,
Our history was bullshit.. Blissful ignorance, sinful synergy,
So criminal.. How this shit's pulled is a mystery.. Actually, it's not,
Minimal imagery and tragedy took casualties to plot..
Actively, it watches us.. Integral to victory, the faculty was shocked,
Went from miserable to sympathy, then rapidly.. it stopped..
No coverage on the news, or this supplemental government,
A fundamental covenant is...

A Prison of Our Own Design
Take us to our cages..
That's not meditation, that's a vegetative state,
From heavily medicated to some regulated waste,
And we could have speculated..
We have burning questions, but these answers won't hold water,
And this cancer knows no author, yet it’s spreading through in masses..
Tell them we can't keep candor if we pander to these fascists,
And we can't keep fleeting banter when we’re standing in the ashes..
What was there to joke about..?
Hopelessness: a common man with contraband to go around,
Focused on the propaganda, fodder that...

Lost in space.. God as my witness,
A conscious fate for competent dissidents,
Constant state of cognitive dissonance,
Godless.. wait.. ominous sicknesses,
Onset plagues, anonymous witnesses,
Complex stages of pompous initiatives,
Joblessness.. rage.. prominent citizens,
Context waived where content is limited,
Honest wages non-existent,
If something.. doesn't.. give...

Citizen Soldier
I say the zombie apocalypse has already happened,
And the joke is on us.. Why are we laughing..?
Why are we passing for cancer, mimicking progress,
And why aren't we asking for answers, picketing conquests?
Our congress is criminal.. Literal context,
Are bomb threats a pinnacle of cynical god-sends?
I'm not sure.. Honestly, it ought to be fought for,
A bottom-feeder lost freedom, probably not war!
Half-mast, upside-down, this is rebel music,
Black flag, up-rise, sound of the revolution, ...

The Power of Perception over Perceived Power (with audio)

We’re used to being soldiers.. Now our shoulders are
More chipped than chiseled, and our heart needs a refill
The war split from civil as I start to bleed free will..
Sift through these arteries, a part of me dreams still
Hard to speak, our disease is bargaining cheap thrills
You can capture pictures.. I captivate imagination
You just practice scripture while the passive traits attack a nation
Get them acclimated.. That’s a lame exaggeration
Facts aren’t as fascinating as the latest...

Had a fear of success, always, far more than rejection
A star's born, bound to fall; doubt forward-direction
Start pouring the alcohol, ground-floor his ascension..
Hope you know his cul-de-sac, 'cause I relate to hate within
I sold my soul and stole it back, then I escaped the gates again
If this is Hell on Earth.. Talk of gated communities
Items that sell as birth, then walks and ages so beautifully
