She is an angel in black lace
Broken and bleeding
She stands in the rain
Silently pleading
"Help me? Help me please"
But no one can hear her
They walk by
Looking away..
So they don't see the scars
And the blood..
They are intentionally blind
her pain.. Disturbs them
So they block it out
Even  though everything...
Everything points to her being broken
Her sleeves are long
And stained by blood
Her cheeks streaked by tears
.. Stained from all those years
Waking up with nightmares
She screams again and...

I told myself cold day in hell over and over again

I had to get over you but still keep you my friend.

Not really knowing what to do as each passing day went by

My heart would give up and let go of you

then you would come to my side

I tried to act like nothings wrong but we both know its true.

You admitted it was just as weird between me and you.

And as I left your side that day my heart did break again.

So now I dont even know If I can keep you as just my friend

So that you may see my broken ever  beating heart
But be careful when you look because you are guaranteed to see
Scars that go deeper  than the eyes can penetrate.
Cut open my cranium. Can you see the damage that memories
Have caused me. The burns on my brain fried from education.
Scars from harmful thoughts that not body should be thinkin.
Not good enough! Not pretty enough! Not cool enough!....
Just not enough.  Read it , it is engraved in my brain
Cut so deep with sharpened thoughts that make me bleed..
