COVID 19 got me and gave me
three days breathing oxygen.
Who thought this up?
All I can do is sleep and
wait for you to call me
I need you to come and
visit me but you can’t.
no one is allowed to visit.
I am thankful for the
nurses and staff who
are risking their health
to care for me.
I try not to ask for anything
as they have too much to do
and I need only your call
and your love to keep
me sane.
I leave the hospital
with another three days
of pills to fight off
the last crap of this ...
