Angst
Tensions have risen
The fuse has been lit
Anarchy has broken out
The country's gone to shit
You wait ages for a doctor
Our waters riddled with disease
The roads are full of potholes
No one says 'Excuse me, Thank You or Please'
The public are fed up
There's an overflow of aggression
The 1% coast on by
As the rest work through a recession
The boats hit the shores
An influx of illegal immigration
While it's not the main problem
It doesn't help the situation

Omega Man
Get out of bed
Feeling undead
Trapped in the void
Inside my head
Colours turned grey
Drifting away
Not sure I'll make
Another day
Everyone's gone
Now I'm just one
Forgot the last time
I had some fun
Wish I was real
Could love and could feel
Instead I've got scars
And wounds that don't heal
Hope's running low
Wish I could go
Far from this place
To where, I don't know
No sun, just rain
Drenched in the pain
Tomorrow I start
It all again
Feeling undead

These thoughts of lead
Weigh heavy on my head
Constantly firing synapses
Peace of mind collapses
Brain's going a mile a minute
Forever racing, there's no limit
Day dreaming, wide awake
Just switch off for goodness sake
A cranium full of pondering
With endless cerebral wandering
Always thinking so deep
Why can't I just fall asleep?

Bereavement
You're gone
Another candle burnt out
There's not many left
My world goes dimmer
There's a hole in my heart
And there's nothing left to fill it
Except memories and sleepless nights
Sadness follows like a cloud,
I miss your sunshine
I'm lost
Like a compass without a needle
I'll never forget your face
Will I find myself again?
Tears smear the ink
With which I write these words
I can't explain
How much this hurts
I try to forget
But it makes me feel worse
If your life was a gift ...

Schizo
I don't know if anyone knows this
But I'm sleepwalking to psychosis
I am a thorn among the roses
My head is splitting like mitosis
I'm not sure if I'm coming or I'm going
But my paranoia is certainly showing
The confusion deep inside keeps growing
How much time is left, there's no way of knowing
Schizo, psycho
Crazy, hazy
I talk to my reflection but it doesn't talk back
The pressure keeps building, I can feel it start to crack
Thoughts swirling within me, it's the answers that I lack
I start to lose control and...

Times never cease to be cruel
The cost of living starts rising
Now people can't afford their weekly fuel
Budgets are drawn up, there's
Big cuts to the National Health
Still, the top cats sit back
As they keeping growing their vast wealth
Strikes start to happen
As the workers begin their fight
There'll be more strikes this winter
Likes the ones of a match to create light
The government stands by
As sewage pours into the river
When the cold starts to hit
Will you choose darkness...

Dreamland
The sandman pays a visit
In the dark of the night
To take me off to dream land
As my eyes shut tight
I begin to drift away
Thoughts clear from my head
I'm whisked off to a new world
As my body lies safe in bed
In this place I feel free
My mind starts to mend
No misery, stress or pain here
It's a shame it'll soon end
I wish I could stay
But the alarm clock rings
My eyes slowly peel open
Now the nightmare begins
