Arriving one by one they come to the cabin in the woods
Connected only by one man, yet another stranger
To their strange realization they all have black hair and deep blue eyes
Just a coincidence they all smile and meet
Entering the cabin one by one, never to be the same

Who they are and how they connect they do not know
This is only a thing that patience and time will show
They seat themselves on the couch, their curiosity does grow
They all sit the same way, crossing their feet on the old rug below

They start to ask each other questions
Get to know from where they came
And in conversation they slowly begin to learn
They all share some things in common including they have no father
Or should I say not one they've ever met
And they begin to question just who it was that brought them here
All called by an old man

Who they are and how they connect they do not know
But soon the truth will show
And inside the anger of abandonment will grow
As their old emotions come out from below

A knock on the door signals answers to come
The door opens without invitation
An old man black hair streaked with grey
Cold steel in his hands
Three shots ring in the night
Echoing through the cabin hidden in the woods
Three science experiments gone wrong
Attempts at cloning taken way too far
All the people the three had hurt
No souls in their body
Guilt still rang through the old man's body
As he debated turning it on himself

The Cabin Inside My Head

He sits alone wondering how he got here
The cabin in the woods holds no clues
The window shutters and doors are locked
He feels concerned but not frightened
The cabin feels strangely familiar
He tries to remember how he got here
He gets up from the chair slightly dizzy
He walks to the table and holds on
Suddenly he feels an electrical jolt
His body spasms but he is still standing
He gasps, grips the table and shouts “Fuck.”

He turns around; another man is sitting in his chair
He is staring at the floor, avoiding all eye contact
He is physically shaking, he lets out a whimper
“Don’t touch me; please don’t touch me, please.”
“I am not going to touch you, you need to calm down.”
“How can I be calm? I don’t want to be here at all.”
“Well neither do I, but we are both still here.”
Both are still confused about how and why they
Both ended up in this wooden cabin together
The first man tries to comfort the second man
As he is clearly more scared about this predicament
They rack their brains for explanations, now calm

Suddenly, the door burst open noisily, they jump
A larger man stomps into the cabin, the door slams shut
“What the fuck is going on here?” he bellows
“Don’t let him hurt me.” Says the second man
“He’s not going to hurt you, well are you?”
“If I don’t get an explanation, I might hurt both of you.”
“Look I’ve got things to do. I don’t want to hang around here.”
The third man looks like he is ready to explode with rage
The second man cries and starts sobbing again
The first man tries to keep everyone calm
“Let’s start with names, mine’s David.”
The other two also identify as “David”

The first man start staring at the table
“What’s this, they weren’t here earlier.”
On the table are three automatic pistols
A yellow post it note say ‘one for each of you.’
The first man hands out the weapons
They check their weapons, all loaded
There is also an envelope on the table
Written in a scrawl it says ‘to David’
The first David thinks they should read it
The second David, sobbing, doesn’t want to know
The third David demands it is read out

The first David opens the envelope taking out the letter
“It’s a suicide note!” He says, now hands shaking
He reads it out loud it gives all his reasons
And feelings of great sadness and loneliness
He explains his hopelessness for anything positive
The letter is signed David. There is a PS
‘I am not brave; I’ll let you three decide.’
“Moaning faggot, I say let him die.” David 3
“No! We must save him.” Sobs David 2
“Let’s try and find a compromise.” Says David 1

“Fuck compromise you faggots!”
David three raises his gun and waves it between them
Automatically David 1 raises and points
Slowly and reluctantly David 2 does the same
A triangular shoot out ensues, clips emptied
The three Davids kill each other
At the same time killing David
His suicide now complete.
The cabin in his head disappears

In case anyone gets worried, I am not suicidal, I repeat NOT! – peace out :-)

Hidden Cabin

Wearily she walked along
The coastal path ,alone
She hoped to find a hostel
For a tempory home

This was a lonely piece of shore
With sandy beach deserted
Then she spied a wooden hut
Shelter; she was elated.

The door opend easily
The inside had a bed
This would be an ideal spot
To rest and lay her head.

Along came another girl
Seeking shelter for the night
Sure that they could share the bed
The prospect looked bright

They soon became friends,
Decided to go and swim
Skinny dipping would be fun
With no one to look on

As they ran up the beach
Completely in the nude
They heard a deep man's voice
'Sorry to intrude'

He came to the cabin door
He smiled at the sight
They coild not escape his gaze
Their clothes were inside

'This is my secret hideaway
But you're welcome to stay
I see you have settled in
Please do not go away'

Both found him attractive
Said they'd stay the night
They soon got to know him
Three in the bed was tight
