Poetry Contest

In the competition, I want you to finish the word to CUT. Guess the word I'm wanting you to finish spelling. What's the word I'm thinking. When you decide your word, make a poem, a short story, lyric anything having to do with the word. Any genre.
The one to guess it coreectly wins.  Also you can in one write attempt 2 CUT words. And two writes per person. I hope this helps. Anything else please let me know in my inbox thank you.

Sepiia

Cuttlebones are found in budgie cages
where pretty-polly is seen pecking one,
used as gem polisher down the ages
and came from some poor cuttlefish's tum.

That beastie gave up this bone with its ghost
and pretty-pollies benefit from this,
Cephalopod, with eight arms, at the most,
swimming oceans, a mollusc, not a fish...

My grandmother would've known well, such stuff,
their education was wide and thorough,
but perhaps wondered how life vanished, pooooft!!
as she looks far past for her Grandmother...

Just as Gran's photo gave me pause to think
Sepia tinted, with cuttlefish ink.

The Cutlass

She looked down
at the wheels, still spinning,
giant bug on its back
desperately flailing to right itself
but there's no turning over
or turning back
this time.

The last smirk
the last other woman
the last insult
was finally enough
of his hedonistic Hollywood soul
so she left
but not without the one thing
that would leave him as empty
as he'd left her---

the 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass.....

It went over the edge
just like in the movies
airborne for a split second
then crashing down
to an end over end flip
landing in defeat
some few hundred yards
below Mulholland Drive
while the lights of L.A.
stared in disbelief.

She pulled off the engagement ring,
raised her arm
ready to throw it down
to join the car
but stopped--
no, it will bring some cash if sold.

So she tucked the ring
into her pocket, hoisted
the knapsack onto her shoulder
and started off down the road
to see where it would lead
from here.

Fromelalome, thanks for entering in this competition.  And it's a great and very sad story. Yet it's not the correct entry for this competition hun. Cause it's not , I can't included it here. I'm sorry .

I'm not cutout for these...

Jack the Ripper was a well known cutter
(that should read infamous but it don't fit,
or Christian Barnard, I heard mutter,
" damn, this heart's too big, I'll shave off a bit."

And there's been lots of footpads and cutthroats
wielding bludgeons, saps and straight-edge-razors,
from Lands-End to way, way, past John-o-Groats
now roads are boring but, a bit safer?

So, those are things I'm not cutout to be
and my diction will never be cut-glass,
raising me higher than cute little me
the worker, to that leisured idle class...

I've a cut-price cutlet, for lunch, to grill,
Cutting corners on costs, my greatest thrill?

simple solutions

it cut me to the bone
hearing second hand
how you under handedly
conquered the slit of my friend

my heart bled from the deep thrusts
the ache poured out
the salt of my tears
stinging confirmed doubt

which brings us to your present predicament
chained spread eagle while my seriousness you scoff
it’s not lust or for your erotic amusement
I’ve just simply decided to cut-you-off

Cutthroats & Cutlery

When he found out how things really were between men & women
He was shocked how cutthroat both sexes were to one another
It was a drag to find out that everybody knew all the same shit and everyone played it off like it was nothing
All the things that go unsaid
They get shoved into your guts like cutlery
All the bullshit sex etiquette
It's like a miniature cold war
What a bunch of lies & ego trips
That's why all these people were so freaked out about each other
It's one big club
The look away & laugh club
A revelation the size of this one sent him reeling for the coffee pot
He spent the rest of the day playing watery college radio music like The Violent Femmes, The Pixies and Hootie & the Blowjobs
He scribbled furiously in his note pad about the injustices of the world and he felt very heavy and important
What a dumb shit!

You have cute cuticles

She was a cutie
Young, hot and had an extraordinary appetite for sex
She knew her way around my body and knew what I enjoyed
There was just one problem...
She had a disgusting habit of frequently and repeatedly gnawing on her skin
Most of the time it was her cuticles or her hand
The area would become red & raw
Many times the affected area would bleed
She had a disease called Dermatophagia
In the beginning of our time together it wasn't bad
After several months her hands looked like someone cut & chopped her skin up with a small blade or knife
It was to the point that I encouraged her to seek help or wear gloves when we were together
I didn't want her mangled hands all over my body or member
Gross!!
She eventually became more self aware and began gnawing on her arms, her ankles and once tried to bite me!
I told her this relationship isn't going to work
She began to get upset & cry
I explained that I could try & help with this issue
She smiled and was full of joy
I used a new pair of cooking scissors and cut off her left ear
It took a few moments
I told her, chew on your ear and stop ruining your hands
She was in pain but understood and appreciated me helping her out
Were still together, minus two ears, part of her cheek & nose

Cutback

The owl
on the prowl
is foul
in flaunting

A sage
of old age
in the cage
he is haunting

Inside the design of malign,
he conspires
Untying the line
built from five twisting wires

The gears in his mind
are rewinding his wisdom
To portray the dismay
of the fray were amiss from

He’s free of the bind
That confined aspirations
Ascension to dine
On the wine of the nation

The feathered assassin
Flit moment to present
Hesitant? Not ever
The moment’s too pleasant

To cutback malign
that’s aligned without patience
The wise one defied
the unwind of the nation

the sun did not rise today

the sun did not rise today
its role was cut off.
seeing this, the flowers
fell to the ground without blooming,
the green leaves scattered without turning yellow
but the sun did not rise today

the waves of the sea did not touch the shore
a flock of birds started flying
in one direction to search
for the sun that comes every day.
by tearing the mountain,
the roots of the trees,
felt suffocated,
n started circling here and there
in the abyss
but the sun did not rise today

the lake, unable to embrace the day,
started flying towards the sky
above the mountains.
every wall of the house
began turning blind,
the fishes, yearning for the sun's smile,
started fainting,
the full moon fell from
heaven and stood in the desert
but the sun did not rise today

the birds singing
in the sweet dawn became mute.
the butterflies,
searching for the drops of dew,
started drying up.
the milk-filled cow's breasts
started bursting and the calf
started searching for the well
but the sun did not rise today...

Cuteness

Draped raven hair
and shyness
borne with an explcit flair
an auara of compexity
stories written on the blankest page
the faintest smile
when lifes a squall

The upturned face
with no agenda
asks a question
are you genuine or a pretender
pruity dusted with mascara
light touch painted, for a starter

Sringtimes welcome all year round
femininity like a high tag ticket
temptation! those calories so sweet
compexion, but without the lipids

She`s no need for Tiktok likes
for cutenees has its own delights
for it panash, a masquarade unprepared
the genuine is very rare

Coy, the pose the mirror sees
to find a way, do as she please
a dark angels web that lirks
and cuteness is the perks
the former treasure, few pecieve.
