Nerve
When your performance grooves
And you interest the ears
A fitting expression that moves
When the beat drives the gears
Then you know you rule the rhythm
And the music hits the nerve
The nerve that drives your passion
In the body you must serve
Saturate the possible
With all the pleasure that you can
It's really not impossible
To be fun for you, your troupe and fans
Be a yes man in the classroom
Of the jam that is the band
Whether student or a teacher
Give the all that's in your hand
And you interest the ears
A fitting expression that moves
When the beat drives the gears
Then you know you rule the rhythm
And the music hits the nerve
The nerve that drives your passion
In the body you must serve
Saturate the possible
With all the pleasure that you can
It's really not impossible
To be fun for you, your troupe and fans
Be a yes man in the classroom
Of the jam that is the band
Whether student or a teacher
Give the all that's in your hand

I love everything musical for the most part. One band stuck out enough to me that I wrote a poem named after them about drumming philosophy.
Ever heard of JoJo Meyers? Awesome drummer.

The very best genre of music is the Blues, the real blues.
And each derivative of it is spectacular too.
Here, take a listen...
Otis Spann - The Biggest Thing Since Collossus
So many places to start... any way to spread the Gospel of the blues.

I've rediscovered Strata recently. So underrated. Check them out if you're into alt/rock.

Any kind of lofi band, or rock/metal band. some of my favorites being five finger death punch, teen suicide, motionless in white, hysterla, shinigami, soundcloud rappers, my music taste is pretty diverse lol.

I really enjoy all kinds of music, but my recent favorites have been Perturbator and Alex. I recently fiended out on purchasing music I haven't heard in years which include The Exploited, SubHumAns, and some video game tracks.

It's always impossible for me to pick a definitive favorite of any art form, be it music, writing, film, photography, etc....
But I am very much looking forward to the release of A Perfect Circle's latest album Eat The Elephant.
