drift of spilled ink as it evaporates into mist
the warmth of the script’s smooth curves
seeds of words that come to suddenly exist

tattooed exultation of a most desired intent
exquisite undercurrents of pure ecstasy

as a fortunate dawn exhibits clemency
the beat of each syllable does bequeath

Murk
in the concealed depths of provision
my heart lies fallow in stillness and
solitude where my poetic blood is ink
as the blue skies roll back and burdens
lighten, the daylight renders the stars
in the deep curtains of midnight
the old man of the ocean whose eyes
tell where he’s been prepares to hang
that pale lantern in the night sky
through the ensuing light, drawn waters
root the flowers of memory, and I am
left sitting in anticipation

Before I Take My Leave
Before I take my leave
I believe I owe many of you here a proper farewell
Though is customary to bereave after one’s departure
I conceive that the burden of memory falls on your shoulders
After I take my leave
But before I take my leave
We must all agree we’ve had some great times together
The compositions I conceived on this side of the universe
Surely must’ve achieved a footnote in some of your memories
After I take my leave
Yet before I take my leave
Understand I’m somewhat relieved to know my time is near
I appreciate...

Crystalin Water
An old Friend's Poem," one of her best " 2017."
Crystaline water
cleanse my cluttered mind
weaving your coarse
leave the chaos behind
Riparian retreat
where willows embrace
finger leaf trails
shows a rippling trace
In mirrored depths
your secrets abide
the predators hunt
the hunted, hide
Amorphous shadows
neath diaphonous stream
caught for a moment
by incandescent sunbeam
Prowling...

St Patrick’s Day Blessing
May dawn’s hope quell midnight’s fear
May wonders spark and blocks disappear
May each moment renew
May your soul always glow
May poetry bless you
Wherever you go
May wonders spark and blocks disappear
May each moment renew
May your soul always glow
May poetry bless you
Wherever you go

You’re My Biggest Fan
You stand by me
Your shoulders
Broad and strong
Through everything
I could never repay
All the gratitude that you bring
You’ve never faltered
You’re faithful
And encouraging
I could never repay
All the happiness that you bring
You push me
To be better
You’re brave and inspiring
I could never repay
All the hope that you bring
You’re amazing
My heart containing
All the emotions
That you bring
I will always do
My best
To repay you ...

Dreamscape
the blank canvas isn’t what it seems
invisible words on the empty page
pastel colours drip from my dreams
as our destinies quietly engage
I’ve searched for you in the daylight
but I’ve stumbled along in the dark
as I slowly start to regain my sight
your touch bleeds colour to my stark
shadows were cast by a raven’s wing
brushed by as the memories fade
I am moved by this love song I sing
as I stand alone in the open glade
I wonder through the midnight blue
your sweet eyes sparkle like the sun ...

Of that Nature.
As they leave,easily.
We're reminded,assertively.
That the roots,in which we're able to breathe within,
is the truth about you and me.
For beliefs,are leaves,
that falls,easily.
If only we'd allow them to fall silently.
Go in,express fully,
take action,when necessary.
And as they leave,
live life authentically.
So stop listening to those,
who don't truly know you,
even though, they tell you, they do know you.
And focus,on being,
who you came here to be.

the cancer ward
The cancer ward.
We sat in the waiting room, of elderly people, with cancer
we had had surgery now we waited to see if it had been successful
A name was called a man on crutches rose, tried to look dignified
not easy on walking aids.
I thought, if I wait, so he comes out if he throws the canes away
it will be a great day; quite biblical.
My name was called; I got up from my chair, slowly, stretched
like a man without any worries.
Theatrical, I had a captive audience.
Cabinet 24, I took off my t-shirt and laid down on a bench

Roams the land of mystic light
It's spring where we are

Ultra Sensitive
Ultra-delicate never fades,
warm or cool,new gentle.
Slow agitation,
Bulky like blankets and pillows,
soiled cotton tears, assembled.
Synthetic wisdom,persistent,
always follows the clear instructions,
at a speed, that's intolerable,
yet felt,though unintended.
The permanent stress,that stretches,
depending on each cycle.
No need to reach, for the manual.
As been through the life cycle before.

Deeply compare
Once upon a midnight dreary,
Pondered I upon a day so weary,
With the dull ache of summer's heat,
And fleeting youth that did not last complete.
As rough winds shake the buds of May,
And summers lease too quickly fades away,
So too do our days wither and die,
As time and fate weave their cruel lie.
But ah, sweet love, thou art more fair,
Thou art more temperate, and more rare,
For in thy eternal summer doth lie,
A beauty that shall never, ever die.
No death shall claim thee, nor shall fade,
