so many smiles,
we've had our share of tears .
oh how we burned up
the miles,
A whole lot of glad,
a handful of sad,
Many memories

treating your lady kind,

he was just a little kid.
Way back in 56

by the toughest man
I almost never knew
Cuz he put up with the struggles
and alone raised up his rebel son

A man and his thoughts
As I sit here
n strum my guitar
My mind drifts off
to somewhere
faaaarr
Away
the noise tuned out,
same old thoughts
seem to come
around,
in an old familiar
waaaay
What if my life ,
had taken a different turn
N I never came to know
these lessons that I've learned,
If I'd said yes
perhaps I'd be
like all the rest,
then again
I take pride in
that I don't fit in
I guess its really

Momma
Momma Had it rough
when I was growing up
four kids and a habit
When things were bad
She always had to have it
But Jesus was her lord and savior
so she made it to heaven
that I know for sure
If God
Can save an angel
with a broken wing
Then i know
there's still Hope
For a sinner
like me..
After all my sins,
the devil still
aint found a way to win.
If there's a reason
I made it through
all my trauma..
It was because
of one special...
when I was growing up

Doing what he's told
Or listening to

Can't seem to
Find A receipt
for the soul
that he sold

of that pile of gold

high fiving at four am

And for that moment I forget life's fickle winds
and quit my worrying over women's rights

with no thought for revenge, or a way of life
