Silent - Samantha
By the time I return to The Factory, the hall lights have come back on. I find Mel by the lift, fiddling with a fuse box, but there's no sign of Robert. I'm about to ask why Robert's upstairs on his own when Mel hears my footsteps, turns round and smiles. I nearly take a step back. The woman isn't Mel, just someone who resembles her, more in height than anything else. The girl, about my sister's age, maybe younger, has long dark brown hair and wears a blue top and pair of tight jeans. She has no shoes on. I would imagine she must be freezing.

The Selected
The ship's sail blocked out the sun for just a moment out on the horizon and then it was gone. Just gone. But I had gotten a picture. Walking up on the beach towards the house I felt empty but somehow still complete. I had been chosen. I had finally seen it and I knew that it was real.
I went inside to take a Vicodin with some tea. The storm clouds were gathering already. Thunder was beginning to boom a little here, a little there. It would only be a matter of time now for all of the events to unfold.
The phone rang. Mary calling...

Ana & Mat
It was a random evening and that day I had decided to spend it with Ana. I made some tea for her and considered the thought of sleeping with her at a hotel. Even though we lived together I wanted a change of our routine. So slowly we headed to our car and made our way to the 'Venice' hotel which was 30 minutes away from our place. Going there was smooth with some jokes and smiles as Ana did always have a sense of humour and was talkative. As for me I was more silent and would think a lot in my head but never deemed those conversations to be percieved as interesting for my company.

Light Years
Light Years
The farthest back I can remember, there were already forms…forms, faces, locations. I remember seeing them and watching them like I was a viewer with no body of my own. It all felt familiar but mostly random. The people and the places didn’t seem to match and would often switch without reason. I remember feeling very strong connections to many of the images I saw, but I cannot refine a memory to a particular emotional reaction to a particular scenario.
I have no way to measure how long things went on like that, but, eventually, the forms and faces and...

Thesis of a Failure
.. ...
Throughout our life we knew nothing but failure.
Throughout our life we knew nothing but failure,...
but we are trying to make the influence we fail to exert in our life useful after our death.
Nobody will take our souls. It is enough to know that we have them.
One day success came and it was gone,...
but it neither passed through dawn when it came... nor through sunset when it left.
When success was asleep, it seemed to be dead. And when success finally died, it seemed to be asleep.
So nobody will find our lost things....

Even The Rats Comfort Her
Unlike many, she's happy, happy that living beings are in our house that's she's able to interact with. That she's able to see and smile at.
The little mouseys roam all in her home, but she's not mad at their presence. She's happy knowing something usually unwanted can be welcome by her. That her welcoming the unwelcoming makes her happy.
Because deep down inside she knew she was unwelcome. That there was no place made for her other than the temple she wants to create.
She wants to save the impossible because she was impossible to love.

Change the Locks
scatterbrained,
feathers and pecking,
thoughts quick,
frantic checking.
the door is locked,
footsteps approach,
sweat sliding down,
a creeping roach.
It looks in your eyes,
you have no disguise.
knob turning,
knee hitting the wood,
still locked in a trance,
be understood.
one-click,
two-click,
three-click,
done.
time standing still,
yet persisting forward,
the door is now open,
you are cornered.
a question is asked,
yet...

Moon hasn’t slept for days
Moon hasn’t slept for days
Sun looks over at him and says what are you
Doing
It’s my turn you have to sleep
Moon is salty as a sailor says
I’ll stand and stare at the sun
Have craters you have sun spots
I’m a little satellite you are the Sun around me
Get up early moon isn’t watching me make
breakfast
I haven’t slept for days all I do is think about you
Sleeping awake on a 5 stack with syrup
And some toast and jam
You’re getting ready to be the Sun...

Run for your Death!
Robert had never been happier. Finally, after several years of hard work his life was exactly where he wanted it to be. In the morning he starts his new job and by the end of the year he’ll be set for life.
He stands in front of his wardrobe mirror admiring the new suit he’ll be wearing, totally absorbed in his own self worth, when all of a sudden, “Good morning,” came a voice behind him.
He turned to find a tall elderly gentleman dressed in tweed, sitting on the end of his bed, casually smoking an old fashioned pipe.
“Who the hell are you!? How did you get in here!?” ...

Poetic License
If I could take poetic license
Wishing to be the inspiration
Tugging at your fingertips
I would imagine you sitting at your desk
Atop a tall tower with only one window
As you etched your emotions into the fibers
Of parchment with your ink stained quill
Then upon finishing your verse
Folding the page into a paper airplane
And sending it out of the glassless window
Where it takes flight on a breeze
created from the warm and sensual waves
Emitting from your heart and directed by your soul
As...
