I have been a writer, for as long as I can remember. The very same words that would get twisted up between tongue and teeth, would flow effortlessly from my pen to paper. Despite of this, perfectionism became my biggest handicap. Too many times I would work my words over tirelessly, to the point of dissatisfaction, while my attention waned (so short that it is), and the work would get passed over unnoticed. It wasn’t until at least a decade after I had dropped out at the end of my twelfth year, that I began to take my academics seriously. I became consumed with the eager determination to work hard and learn all that I could in my time here, and that maybe if I was lucky enough, or good enough, I would leave my pen mark on the world.
   By joining you here, I plan to coax my muse out of her hiatus, and get to writing again. This is the challenge I have been seeking. To dust off my ‘pens’, brush up on my vocabulary, and be the best poet/writer that I can be. I only hope you enjoy reading my words as much as I do writing them.
