The dragon
Behold i march through the masses like a dragon,
Im feared and hunted, the tools of men are made sharper to ensure my demise and the fall of a dragon
I yearn to befriend these humans yet they yearn for war with the dragon
When i breath fire, they think i thirst for war with their kind, the breath of a dragon, the breath of a human
Are they not most deadliest, they that kill their own kind for greed and other six deadly sins and less
When they now unite in a form of war against a common foe
When was i declared the foe
When i spread my wings and sored the sky...

Two Blue Oceans
- Two Blue Oceans -
Memory One: Peace, Serenity, and Sorrow
I look into the distance, and I see the ancient days reflected,
Other worlds, other times, other ages now lost to all records.
I look within, I see the place that is most securely protected,
From within to beyond, to a paradise filled with songs of birds.
A singular oasis, where in other flesh we oft went to feel peace!
Those of my house knew not of our secret meetings, lost love.
Yet I oft did sneak away, to bask in the wonder of your company,
Beneath the moons of a world no eyes see...

For ye shall have nought to dread upon the waves - NaPoWriMo 23
She was a behemoth of steel
from her forecastle to the keel
a fighting battleship like no other
born from necessity as mother,
She was
HMS Dreadnought.
Well armed in her vow
and armoured in her bow
she undid two nation's fleet
as all others became obsolete,
She was
HMS Dreadnought.
She changed the face of war
casting opposition to old yore
a revolution upon the sea
heralding a changing decree,
She was
HMS Dreadnought.

desecrated
(Note to readers: overnight, I seem to have developed a profound injury to my right hand, so I've had to write a poem that just uses the left hand letters. Apologies.)*
beasts at seeded grasses grazed,
at vert swards, barbed warfare crazed,
bravest, wettest crawdads fazed:
zebra, badgers, steeds bedazed.
reeded area: waders tweeted.
vexed debaters cede, reseated.
steadfast traders swayed, retreated;
carers, stewards, beasts - defeated.
afterwards...
ravaged streets were desecrated;
trees,...

Predictions
The author foretells the imminent and total annihilation of all wicked human beings.
Crime and violence will not end as long as unfair and contemptuous laws exist.
The author fearlessly previses NATO of the serious consequences of its evil, inhumane actions.
As long as the Israeli occupation of the Golan Heights continues, wars will not cease.
The author makes a prediction that no oppressor will be safe anywhere in the world.
There will be uprisings as long as the heartless authorities continue to oppress the poor.

Stained glory: only Mori - NaPoWriMo 16
Who really wins in war?
Who will be left
To raise the proud banners high
as crimson blood of innocent bystanders flows
turning all flags red
now that more, many more
are gone and dead.
The dead care not
for who boldly won
Their tragedy is in being robbed
of a life to see a future
where all is done,
Or at least
until the next time round
around and around
Who it'll hit nobody knows
only that when pettiness grows
soon too the sorrowed blood flows.

Sniper Files #3 The Kill
As the moon hung low in the night sky, casting shadows across the deserted alley, I watched them from the rooftop opposite the dimly lit apartment building. The general's daughter, Olena, stood on the balcony, her silhouette joined by that of her lover, Andrei. They seemed lost in each other, unaware of the danger lurking in the darkness below.
I adjusted the scope on my rifle, my breath steady despite the adrenaline coursing through my veins. This was the moment I had trained for, the mission I had been assigned by my superiors. But as I stared through the crosshairs, doubt...

Cannonballs
A dark wind has come upon us
tears us apart from limb to limb
up on the mountain they look down
as my neighbor slits the throat of my friend
someone seemed to have pulled the thread
everything unraveled
up from the bottom to catch a breath
for the amusement of those who lit the fuse
behind the bricks lays the gold
pull up your boot straps and come get it
wealth and the greed we need to be worthy
loyalty to a ring
saw a picture of a girl somebody slaughtered
on the banks of the water...

over breakfast, nothing else mattered
turn off the radio, darling, I’d
rather not hear the news
this morning, I’d quite like to eat my breakfast in
peace,
like my eggshell is so easily
shattered

this morning, I’d quite like to eat my breakfast in
peace,
like my eggshell is so easily
shattered

In one ounce of blood
there is around
one hundred &
fifty billion red
blood cells,
in one pint of blood
there is around two
point four trillion
red blood cells,
you can't wash
away blood with
soap and water
and you cannot
wash away the
shame of war.

Gaza
displaced misplaced lives
new horrors among broken homes
looking down gun barrels
young tearful eyes wondering why
watching bloody severed limps
falling all around them
innocents crying after more bombing
mooved from several kill zones
straight into another hell
revenge has no humanity
tunnel vision on the jugular
enforcd starvation of babies
past holocaust certainly been forgotten
justification what does it mean
for those recieving their rage
we have come full circle
maybe not six million
