They invent new lies with periodical distractions
repeat falsehood till truth turns doubtful
teach generations the ways of hating
the porn of discriminating, dividing, killing
the innocents that love their neighbors
value diversity, equality and peace
shunning the weird chains that lock the sun for roots to grow

Her body is wrapped in bandage
For her skin does not scab
Once again
it is torn by her own nails
Which now protrude from her limbs
Her legs and arms horribly disfigured and impaled
Cut and bruised at her own hand
She tries not to look at them
As they only blemish her very vision
and claw at her memory
Void of mercy
and gentleness
they can no longer be hidden
stubbornly forgotten and encased in her bleeding flesh
Again, she will begin to itch
And then the memories
they will subside

The chimneys around my home
print black spots on the walls
darken the air I breathe and
the water I drink or bathe in

the owners know how to shut
the mouths of inspectors
and the mafia know how
to make money this season

politics of lack of rain
repair and management
scraunch smoke from wildfires away
to country’s gas emissions

they have their priorities
mission to rewrite histories
erase the past and erect
new walls of divisions

Burning Blue

Flames lick my palm
Dance upon flickering light

Sweat builds up on my brow
As I push the plough

Digging  down to my essence
Pull back the shade

Hear barks in the distance
In the in between I observed

Glaciers melting
RIse the sea

Look at me
No look at me

Puddles forming
Below the corncob pipe

Magnify a fly
Or magnify a human

Temp rising
Dehydrate drink some water

Basin is drying up
In a desert of thirsty beings...
