Rustle of mists ascend ...
The whisper touches the skin, like a gentle wind,
the late evening shrinks to the point of contact,
cutting off a barely audible, restless moan from the lips,
and outside the window naked thin branches
stretch into the sky to the frosty twinkling stars -
autumn under the rustle of mists ascends to the throne ...
Still the heart melts with warmth, passion languishing,
gently shoulders glow dipped in his hands,
and no buckles restrictions, obstacles lips ...
heart breaks at the feet of the defeated bird, ...
the late evening shrinks to the point of contact,
cutting off a barely audible, restless moan from the lips,
and outside the window naked thin branches
stretch into the sky to the frosty twinkling stars -
autumn under the rustle of mists ascends to the throne ...
Still the heart melts with warmth, passion languishing,
gently shoulders glow dipped in his hands,
and no buckles restrictions, obstacles lips ...
heart breaks at the feet of the defeated bird, ...

Hymn to Trees
Black boots leave a bus
as I watch it trundle off
into English dust
I pass through a kissing gate
walk past the orchard full
of Beltane blossom
up a dirt track towards
a meadow full of buttercups
and red clover.
There she stands
Bella, my oak tree
on her own in the midst
of a lone field
she who stands with ribbons
tied into her spindles
markers of every prayer
every thought
every wish ever uttered.
I sit here sometimes
crouching to reach a crawl-space...
as I watch it trundle off
into English dust
I pass through a kissing gate
walk past the orchard full
of Beltane blossom
up a dirt track towards
a meadow full of buttercups
and red clover.
There she stands
Bella, my oak tree
on her own in the midst
of a lone field
she who stands with ribbons
tied into her spindles
markers of every prayer
every thought
every wish ever uttered.
I sit here sometimes
crouching to reach a crawl-space...

A Touch of Spring
There's the soft lift of blue that carries the song of birds to touch the clouds
And green
The world's turned green again
From raggedy lawn
Growing free before the first cutting
Yearning in the sun
Softly rippling
As the cool of the breeze
Wends its way
In that peculiar cool to the warmth of the day
Like the last fading echoes of winter forgot
In the lavender and dogwoods
Pink and white which are scattered
Among the green of leaves and buds
Of trees in varied shades of green
For today is awake to things
Like life...
And green
The world's turned green again
From raggedy lawn
Growing free before the first cutting
Yearning in the sun
Softly rippling
As the cool of the breeze
Wends its way
In that peculiar cool to the warmth of the day
Like the last fading echoes of winter forgot
In the lavender and dogwoods
Pink and white which are scattered
Among the green of leaves and buds
Of trees in varied shades of green
For today is awake to things
Like life...

Telluric
Willows in the wind
bringing ancestral voices...
We learn to listen,
we teach ourselves to be silent.
Birds sing the song of the ground,
a river of flames crosses the hearts.
The juice of life sprouting
in the fruits of the air.
The body submerges in the waters
of eternal universal return.
Me inside the forest
that is the forest inside me.
bringing ancestral voices...
We learn to listen,
we teach ourselves to be silent.
Birds sing the song of the ground,
a river of flames crosses the hearts.
The juice of life sprouting
in the fruits of the air.
The body submerges in the waters
of eternal universal return.
Me inside the forest
that is the forest inside me.

Talking Tree From Boston
Tribute:
The essence of me
Wrapped inside a fluffy tree
That’s where you’ll find me

The Uninhabitable Earth
How can people live so happily,
Amidst such an unimaginable tragedy
Unnoticed by the untrained eye,
Our beloved planet begins to die.
The hand we have dealt ourselves,
Will turn our heaven into hell itself,
If we don’t learn a better way,
To show care, in this game of life we play.
It’s time for a dramatic shift,
For our ways have clearly gone adrift;
We must act now, and make it swift,
Or through the ashes we will sift.
The things that we once held so dear, ...
Amidst such an unimaginable tragedy
Unnoticed by the untrained eye,
Our beloved planet begins to die.
The hand we have dealt ourselves,
Will turn our heaven into hell itself,
If we don’t learn a better way,
To show care, in this game of life we play.

Or through the ashes we will sift.

Beyond Being
Being -
Weaved through the trees,
Clandestine
breeze
Sees,
The faces
behind
hiding places -
hidden,
[Ensconced
in]
the safety
of secrecy,
[Blended
in]
out of the human
land of the inhumane,
[A true
view
of eminent
domain]
Until the anomaly
comes alive,
reversing
the breeze
Through the trees
Captivating
the eyes,
opening
to see
Lights in the sky
Like
Sacred geometry ...

& were I a tree
& were I a tree I’d be ancient & gnarled & considered quite a beauty by those who love trees, but who look upon old folk quite differently ..

sapling
I have faith in the trees to guide me
silent denizens who stand stoic and true
honest to the earth they carry wisdom
with the rustling of their leaves
I can hear whispers uttered
admonishing me to stick to the path
the sky blue reaches in and filters light to my soul
the green is in judgement
it will be as it should be
the daffodils aren't cutting any deals
natural law is fast
it doesn't linger or hesitate
it acts
I am rooted in the dirt
my limbs reach the sky
I am a vessel of faith
I guard...

Spring
At last, she arrives in splendour,
bringing her constellation of colours:
green shoots, white-pink blossom.
golden daffodils, purple crocuses
and even, after false starts,
an azure sky.
As new life beckons,
something awakens within me.
Although everything has its season,
the darkness never lasts
and Spring is just part of the cycle,
the promise of heat and light and hope
buoys me, and I breathe a little easier.

Lovers' Escapade
imagine
it's just me and you
beneath the serene calm
of palm trees
enjoyin the sea breeze
sippin on ice teas
non virgin...nice buzz
souls mergin...love's surgin
bodies convergin
as the sun tongue kiss the ocean
movin in slow motion
knowin soon
the heavens will drip
its moonlit potion
an encore to our sexy twilight
as we give lip service to
passion's undressing
the highlight of the evening
where hips slip and dip between
a flowered portal ...
