Stop feeding off the negative
Once a week I do a complete shave of my face
I look forward to the warm water, shaving cream and Gillette Razor taking every whisker completely off
As I looked at my face today, the only hair that was left was above my lip
I don’t call this a mustache because I’m not trying to grow one of those
As I stared at myself and looked at the hair above my lip
I said to myself,
what if I donned a toothbrush mustache?
For those of you that don’t know what a toothbrush mustache is,
look at the visual I attached to this story
Not a real attractive...

forests
forests,
each tree
proudly as
individuals,
each detailed
within
their own
manners,
each mind
firm,
the place
you remember,
but their
acceptance
to be
something more,
combined,
a community.

A Farewell to Decency
My friends,
I can no longer understand
The way the world is today,
Why the politics have gotten so…
Dirty,
It seems as if common politeness
Has given way to greed and avarice.
Farewell to the days of decency,
The care for our fellow man,
Living in the time of excess
Seems to be the goal.
Perhaps we as poets, writers,
Dreamers,
Those who envision a world without pollution
Without hate
Strive to write
And compose until our fingers ache,
Our minds united
Raising our voices together ...
I can no longer understand
The way the world is today,
Why the politics have gotten so…
Dirty,
It seems as if common politeness
Has given way to greed and avarice.
Farewell to the days of decency,
The care for our fellow man,
Living in the time of excess
Seems to be the goal.
Perhaps we as poets, writers,
Dreamers,
Those who envision a world without pollution
Without hate
Strive to write
And compose until our fingers ache,
Our minds united
Raising our voices together ...

Hey Dudes,
Please don the mask of sanity
And leave it in its proper place
Where it covers the inanity
Of your ugly hominid face.
Place it before your angry brain
Lurking behind those dopey eyes
Where it prevents the character stain
Your baser antics won't disguise.
Oh you can call it one great lie,
That common courtesy of old,
But it's a finer thing to try
Than your sub cortical scold...
Ever the clumsy cliché cuss
As graceless as a blunderbuss
Or any shameless primal act
Demonstrating your lack of tact.
And leave it in its proper place
Where it covers the inanity
Of your ugly hominid face.
Place it before your angry brain
Lurking behind those dopey eyes
Where it prevents the character stain
Your baser antics won't disguise.

the arms of grace
just think if compassion
and mercy
were not uncommon
acts,
what if these virtues
came a easily as drinking
water, breathing, or
sleeping.
what would this world
be like:
wars, genocide, atrocities
would end,
hunger, homelessness,
poverty would no
longer be tolerated,
addiction, abuse,
domestic violence
would desolve before
the continence of
grace
can you picture a
world like
this?
...you can!
come on ...

A Bitch’s Tomorrow
Many think her size and gender is a disadvantage
But many found out the hard way that she can manage,
“Not only able to take a blow to the pussy, but also to the head
Showing that her period is not the only blood she can shed,
“She is not about that fake flirting and ass switching
Being barefoot, asshole naked and pregnant in the kitchen,
“Got caught up in a rape situation-now she lives with that regret
Now from her, men will get a different kind of wet-wet,
“Treating fools like a blow job bitch who is about to bite ...

Tapestry
I used to think
that the world
was just like me.
I thought
the rest of the world
lived the way I did,
That everyone believed
what I believe.
And yet,
the older I get
the more I see
how we are
much more like
the delicate weaves
in a beautiful human tapestry.
Our cultures
are rich, vibrant, and unique
for every country,
every province,
state, and city.
It is okay ...
that the world
was just like me.
I thought
the rest of the world
lived the way I did,
That everyone believed
what I believe.
And yet,
the older I get
the more I see
how we are

we’d picnic on the common
what do you mean there is no common ground to the left and the right we looked around and sat in the middle of the meadow

When the Flip
When the Flip
I can remember
when the flip
happened.
What was beautiful inverted
with what was not.
Beauty
turned its back
on me,
believing the slick
words
of others.
What had never
been given
a spark
of notice
became my muse.
In my wretchedness,
I was accepted.
That became
the appex
of beauty.
I can remember
when the flip
happened.
What was beautiful inverted

Beauty

LOVE SOMEONE LIKE ME
Here I am as I am a woman of many things that can be seen, through the depth of your own subconsciousness only if you would open up your eyes, and not see me as I am nothing more than a woman in your eyes. For I am a strong woman of intelligence and knowledge and experience, that came from wisdom of trials and tribulations as a woman who understands, her self value and self worth as in the deepness of my mind and heart. Who has endured many trials and tribulations of life some good some bad. For I have known love from the depth of the heart and soul, as I have felt the hurt and pain along...

Religious Intolerance, and An Angel Named Lena
The tension was building up at home, this time with Brian, a heavy smoker who'd begun going to parties at weekends and getting drunk. He was sixteen and studying for his A'levels at the grammar school. Like Robin and I, he longed for a normal childhood. He had a number of friends in the neighbourhood, all of whom had gone to the local comprehensive. Whilst he showed exceptional talent and had no objection to studying hard at the grammar school, he disliked having to cycle to the Rabbi's house several evenings a week to study the sacred Hebrew books. For him, the memories of summer holidays...

Ungloved Tolerance - Visual Poetry
Tolerance is just below the surface.
Something that is there in the back
Of your mind. Something you face
And fight head on. You lose track
Of who you hate and who you love.
But you tolerate everyone around
You, carefully removing the glove
And you never remove your crown.
Something that is there in the back
Of your mind. Something you face
And fight head on. You lose track
Of who you hate and who you love.
But you tolerate everyone around
You, carefully removing the glove
And you never remove your crown.
