Rogue In Vogue '' Sonnet ''
You take all thick and thin, you never sieve
Like a pierced evil-proof shield, out of use
And yet, you either refuse, or believe
You are bound by trends in vogue thru' abuse
Between thin and thick stand the blurred limits
You lost the vision, you're driven by whims
All the bad wrapped in silky honey sweets
They know you flee truth, sink in beastly dreams
They massage the nerves of a raging rogue
Easy gained fame, by sweat-less efforts made
You see pink, psychedelic...

six hours between visits
and the usual suspects
are pissing their territories
on their pixelated walls
I think of every woman
that has ever hated my spit
and the men who found
weird strength in it
as if my mouth is a trophy
nobody fucking asked for
gathering dust in a cabinet
they show to old mates
knowingly after dark.
I think about words
if they ever mean anything
remembering the last time
I allowed them in
watching my heart

When you look at their faces you can see something appealing
Under the crystal the hands that mark time just tick away
For whatever aesthetics or complications you may be seeking
It’s the inner workings that matter most each and every day
Beneath the surface you can witness a marvel of engineering
From balance wheels and rotors to jewels and gear trains
All this inside of a barrel where you can see a mainspring

Hate the Robotics, Love the Robot - NaPoWriMo 21
It may seem that I hate machines.
The truth is I do not
loathe the robot.
It is simply that technology
can do so much
but all too often
it is just mush
and overly complicated fuss.
Where the computer says 'no'
because the logic gates say so
but common sense
and human lateral thinking
speak otherwise
and have to resort to
bawl and shouting out of frustration
for the machine has no mind
to be swayed or changed,
Only slavery to commands
to be pitied
because the machine isn't...
