Resilience
Adversity should help sharpen the mind
…and character
The obstacles we face in life shouldn’t scare us
…or beat us into submission
But they should offer an opportunity to learn
…and refine our skills
The storms that lay ahead
Regardless of the vessel we sail on
May seem overwhelming
Stressful or even taxing at times
But it is really within our own reaction and choices
Where the true power lies
To cultivate resilience in my journey
I must think of growth and development

This love will never die
In my dream was this beautiful angel, with large pink wings.
The angel smiled and said to me,
" Dry your eyes child, your mom is tired and ready to go home."
Noooo , I screamed, this is her home.
The angel replied .. follow me, there's something I want you to see.
She pointed to the left and there stood Mom in a field of wildflowers. She looks so beautiful with long dark auburn hair and not a wrinkle did I see. She was smiling and talking with Grandma and grandpa, aunts and uncles and our brother Joe too.
The angel tapped my shoulder and...

When does a mother lose her ability to love?
There's this idea passed around that a mother has infinite capacity to love.
She can love her kids, pets, foods, colors, experiences, and everything in life that is worth loving.
Yet no one talks about when she simply runs out.
Runs out of love.
The lake runneth dry and lay cracked beneath her feet.
Those around her watch as she has given every part of her being to love every corner of the earth.
Till she dips her hands into the waterless sand, hoping to get an ounce back.
She remains stranded in a loveless land.
Eventually, it...

If the world can cry tears
They would be red
For all the blood shed going on everyday
We are fighting a losing battle between life and death
It seems that the cards are in deaths favor
Since these days the gift of life is not cherished
I feel like a caged bird who is dying to be set free

The sun is so immense
You can feel its greeting
As you look up to the warmth sense
That you feel on your face, so pretty...

In the realm of the ephemeral, where time is a whisper,
pills fall like rain, promises of pure relief.
Capsules of hope, swallowed with a dry sip,
in search of a cure in an almost echoless world.
Drills hum, in a constant and strong rhythm,
piercing matter, defying the cut of luck.
They spin in spirals like dances of power,
creating and destroying without ever fading.
And on the horizon, Ragnarok announces itself,
with trumpets and fury the prophecy begins.
Gods and men of intertwined destiny
in an epic encounter the end is...

Time-proof body
The strength of the body and the body of strength,
in a ballet of muscles and will.
Each gesture is a battle, an approach,
in the dance of life the eternal truth.
The body that pushes, that pulls, that reaches,
with the strength that comes from within, burning,
It is the temple of the soul, the abode of hope,
where every sweat is a seed.

Forever is Tomorrow
My life has changed
so quickly
in such
a Iittle time
trapped inside ideas
and a life that
wasn't mine.
Forever is tomorrow
but we're stuck
inside today
will we ever
get the chance
to feel just
