"Daddy's Boys"
From the twinkling glow of his eyes
I see his spirit quickly rise
Every time you return his call
Even if your chat is cut small.
The twinkle in his eyes I see
When he talks about you between him and me
You are his pride, his reason to live and breathe
Don't let anyone short-change you or deceive.
From the wrap of his arm around yours
Through the small lectures and pep-talk course
Is all his way of saying how much he cares
His way of saying he is there
To motivate and encourage you to reach
All the greater things you...
I see his spirit quickly rise
Every time you return his call
Even if your chat is cut small.
The twinkle in his eyes I see
When he talks about you between him and me
You are his pride, his reason to live and breathe
Don't let anyone short-change you or deceive.
From the wrap of his arm around yours
Through the small lectures and pep-talk course
Is all his way of saying how much he cares
His way of saying he is there
To motivate and encourage you to reach
All the greater things you...

the farewell
The farewell
The family visitors from the town
was standing by the roadway
waiting for the bus
taking them back into the town
He, the boy, came from
although the boy liked staying
at the farm, his heart belonged
with those leaving.
He heard the bus approach and stop
He was hiding behind a stone-fence
No, he wasn’t going to cry
They called his name
but only when the bus left
did he get up and waved

Snowy night
Shades of green hid in white
Temperatures low snow covered night
Roamed these mountains enjoying the sight.
Enjoy nature and a wonderful life.
Maddie and max covered in blankets
Warm by the fire place awaiting a new year.
Little hearts in a dream
Lay peaceful kiddos dad's got the night
Past pale calling of the moonlight
Adjusted remnants of a time now gone.
