flowers of milk
as i go over the sealskin of roads shiny as new ink,
is there honesty in shame, the burden on ourselves?
speeding steady through the first
snowfall of Summit-Waller,
stare at the source too bright and drive,
it doesn’t matter the temperature
it’s still there behind the eyelids
the ghosts of light on an elliptical track
and you its center recognize the signs of shock,
the sky is weaving lace ever so slowly
threading the dark, here you see
through it...

Snow
Snow falling, crashing down silently, slowly
Guiding itself to the ground, the final resting place
Snow you cool my body but warm my soul
My inner child is released and running free

Twilight Trails in the Mountain's Hush
In the mountain's gentle cradle, where the quiet pines do play,
Under sun’s retiring light, the snowscape dons the cloak of day.
Skis carve silent paths with grace, in turns of silent might,
While nature’s hushed and whispered tones, slip into alpine night.
In the caress of solitude, where chill and vision fuse,
A waltz of shadows, light, and spark, the lonely path I choose.
Trails stretch out to touch my dreams, they reach with fading light,
As day's last rays tug soft at seams, and coax the coming night.
Soft is the swish of skis in eve, a...

Blizzards
because you are the opposite
from my other side
turned inside out
autumn's cold khaki
that clicks below
of the heels
elbows hurt
and hands slip
on door handles
abrasive mouth
kissing the back of my neck
because you are autumn
of my other skin
burned by a blizzard
autumn without shades of blue.

The Snowflake Ball
I was walking
Upon soft marshmallow snow
The sky for now, was clear
Awash with a myriad stars
And distant galaxies
I reached out my hands
To capture
The now falling snowflakes
As i tried to lick them from my hands
Before they melted
The gathering moon
Became my beacon
As i traversed the frozen land
Until i came across
A big wooden door
It slowly creaked open
As i entered a large hall
I was soon joined
By "a swaggering, of hempen homespuns"
As we attended
"a Winter Wonderland...

Snow-white
Free fall
Oh my goodness! I am falling!
Nothing to grab hold on
Petrified with fear
I close my eyes
Mother why did you let me go of?
Zero gravity
No more free falling
But lightweighted floating
I am dancing gracefully
Pirouetting like a ballerina
In my hectagon tutu
Far below
My brothers and sisters
Cover the ground with a
Glistening white blanket
Wait a moment!
I will come and join you!
Oh my goodness! I am falling!
Nothing to grab hold on
Petrified with fear
I close my eyes
Mother why did you let me go of?

No more free falling
But lightweighted floating
I am dancing gracefully

Snow on mountains fall
Biting wind stings nose and cheeks
Winter lingers on
